What vitamins? Why do you take them?

Take a mulit-vitamin to cover all the essentials that you may or may not miss in your diet (and some take these multiple times during the day). And if you are doing a lot of heavy lifting, I would suggest a good B-complex and Vitamin C. They do all sorts of things for the immune system and body functions. Plus, theses vitamins are water solluable, so you need to replenish them at least once a day. Add in an EFA like flax oil or a blend, and that's a good starter.
 
Most bodybuilders/athletes/whatever, lose nutrients throughout the day. Our daily diets may consist of many of the vitamins needed to grow, however, sometimes its almost impossible to get the full spectrum of vitamins for optimal development, and that fits into OUR respective price range. That's where multi-vitamins come in...

That being said, my two choices are ON's Opti-Men and AST's multi. They are both time released formulas
 
I take centrum, I just take one with breakfast, you should get all your nutrients from food, take a multi and you should be fine. I don't believe in pill popping, I know people that take like 15 vitamins a day, that's insane IMO.
 
Centrum is good for the average joe, for a fat ass who practises almost no physical activities

=> You really need a "good" multivitamins which would cover the vitamins you loss during your training
 
I take Milk Thistle which is good for the liver.
Useful for someone like me who eats loads of protein every day and has a few beers at the weekend.
