What To Get For Lunch

FreeballinDC

Dumper Humper
it's a little past 11am, and I am thinking about lunch.

There is a Roadhouse and a Crabshack across the street. A Fridays east of our office, and several other places to the west of us (Chicken Out, Appleby's, Olive Garden, and a Mexican food joint).

Suggestions? Since I am federal, my decision making capabilities were extracted from me years ago.

Thanks in advance.

Dude, The Roadhouses down her have gone down the crapper..
Fridays is usually good

I like Outback or Chilis...

OGarden is a bit too commercialized and bland for me, except for the Alfredo Sauce..

If either Chili's or an Outback were around, the choice would be more simple. Unfortunately, I have to deal with the above selection.

Maybe I should hit the Korean place and order sweet and sour cat.

go in and ask for sweet and sour rooster balls, then when they get all pissed and correct you tell them chickens dont have balls

f'n outback rocks. one of my favorite chain places to go.

however since that is not an option for you crabshack it is.

It's Appleby's

A co-worker came in and volunteered to do a lunch run there. I ordered a combo of sirloin and salmon.

We'll see what that's like.

good stuff orb,I expect a full report which I will base where I am going for dinner on

Done. The sirloin was cooked medium well, a little tough, but not dry. The salmon was perfect. Fell apart when the fork touched it.

The side of mashed potatos was very good, although I would have liked a salad instead of the veggies.

A good meal, and probably would have been better had it been at the restaurant (I have suspicions about the quality of the food for carry out vs what is served in the restaurant).

All in all, good stuff, Maynard.

I'm off for Mongolian BBQ here in a moment, but I'll take a pass on the sweet and sour puss.

I don't blame you on the puss, I'd take a pass too.

Is the Mongolian at least all you can eat? Be sure to eat enough for 2, or 3 in your case.

I have fallen in love with Sonny's BBQ, not for the BBQ really, but for the Sweet Potato and Cinnamon butter they serve with it..
