What to expect Post-anavar?

Just wondered what your girls experience was with after you stopped your Anavar cycle?
Mood, weight, strength etc
...and what you did for supp after if any.

Strength went down the shitter. Lost about 5 or 6 pounds. Mood was ok, I was just naturally pissy coz I couldn't move as much weight. :) didn't take anything else for supps-- I just wanted to completely clean out.
 
female trainees should be ready for post cycle therapy. Depending on how much AAS you took and for what length of time, your ovarian production of testosterone may have almost completely ceased. T production responds to zinc gluconate/gycinate taken away from caffeine, which interferes with zinc absorption.


Estrogen and progesterone production may have been disrupted as well. You may experience an estrogen rebound which may manifest as excessive water retention. Generally FBB'ers try to avoid this by tapering down slowly from any drug that might be suppressing estrogen. Another method to gradually bring E back up is adding in some clomid near the end of your planned AAS cycle. that might work to gently restore E to normal levels, instead of an abrupt rebound.

post cycle mood changes are not a result of just being unhappy with athletic performance changes, but rather a symptom of the brain's sensitivity to the sudden changes in hormonal levels. There are receptors for these hormones in brain tissue as well.
 
I took anavar 10 weeks. Average of 7.5 mg a day . I tapered at the end. I was thinking of Clomid.. What dose and for how long? And anything else? Going do some Bridge too

Clomid would be beyond over kill for that kind of cycle wouldn't recommend it period for woman. It makes grown men basket cases woman lord knows what it would do. At that dose just give it time your normal levels will all come back.

Coming off Var I have never noticed a significant strength lose and emotional impact was low as well. My weight has really only changed if my diet did.
 
Thanks for the advice. So far, emotionally I seem alright, have already started seeing things like..female hormones returning (spotting), hormonal breakouts. I haven't noticed strength changes yet...but I can sure tell the all of the previous tightness you normally feel "on", is completely gone. :(
O well, has to be done.
Did you take anything supp wise afterwards ?
 
My strength changes took a few weeks to be noticable and did drop a little bit but not as much as I thought. I've kept most of my gains each time. My first time I didn't take anything after and did notice a big shift in hormonal changes/ moodiness etc. The other times I've taken some natty test supplements (tribulus) to taper back up. I generally feel better overall with lower estrogen levels and I found the natural stuff just eased me back into being "normal". I had bloating after,as well, and just felt soft, which does a number on your mind but it all evens out after time. :) Bridge is supposed to be great to take.
 
Even tho that was a pretty light cycle I would suggest Bridge and N2Guard. Both are awsome and do exactly what they say they will.

Agree with Bridge. Would probably be effective w/o just transferring dependance to another exogenous hormone.

I'm coming off 16 weeks of boldenone myself and just started zinc glycinate at 300mg daily and freeze dried garlic at 3500 at bedtime, both of which has definitely worked for me in the past to jack up endogenous T production. I'm 168lbs and 15.91% bf right now. Will recheck in 4 weeks to see how well my ideas actually work.

Funny you should say that b/c I was just thinking a few days ago how very high my bf was with respect to where I have to be if I want to compete. A FBB'er acquaintance of mine advised me a few days ago I need to aim for 8% if I want to be competitive even on a state amateur level. Good god.

8 % for bbing, physique, figure, fitness or bikini? I'd imagine bikini could be higher, but I really wouldn't know. Breasts are gone by 8 % i would imagine, and are needed for bikini? I'm confused obviously lol

BB. And yes I know I'd be boobless. :( That's really the thing I'm struggling with. At this point I'm told I have enough muscle generally to be competitive on the state amateur level, but man...I just don't know about completely loosing the girls. They were too big, so at 16% they're a nice C.

I hear you :) They grow back though I think. I don't think they'd get damaged from going smaller, not like the other way around (stretch marks). You could probably get them back afterwards?

Mine came back after competing, although I never hit the 8% mark so still had a bit left but definitely dropped a couple of cup sizes. I've heard that some of the drugs, like novoldex, would eat away the breast tissue and it wouldn't come back but otherwise, it felt a little bit like puberty...soreness, little bit of moodiness as my bf went back up etc.

an anti-e is probably going to be pretty much compulsory to be competitive in BB. Everyone brings that level of hardness now. It'd suck to bust my lady balls whittling down to at least 8% and get slammed for being soft.

They don't grow back if you supplement with anti-e's as most are breast cancer drugs designed to eat breast tissue and fat.

For them to grow back even after natural cutting is rare as your body fat would need to increase as well. Depending on the person of course the volume of fat in a breast is anywhere from 10-60%.

I can uses myself as an example pre bodybuilding I was a between a 34-36 D. After my first real cut for figure I never used an anti-e I was a small 34 B in the off season I would get up to maybe a full B.

My 2nd contest I used anti-e's but not for a prolonged time only about 4 weeks my cup size got much closer to an A.

My 3rd contest was bodybuilding I used anti-e's a lot longer and I was like err maybe an A not even. Once I rebounded from the contest my breast were a small B at best.

One of my favorite chapters in Tosca Reno's Eat Clean Diet is on breast augmentation. It's something that should really be talked about a lot more freely when talking about female dieting that focuses on fat burning.

nolvadex is the drug I hear FBB'ers talk about the most. It blocks estrogen receptors all over the body, including the breasts of course. With no estrogen getting through to the skin to stimulate fat storage, you can very hard. Estrogen just wont allow us to get as lean as men. Block it though and then you starting getting as lean as a ripped man. Clomid I think only blocks estrogen in the hypothalmus and in men somehow indirectly stimulates the gonads to making making T again.
 
Two questions that relate--sorta-- to this thread. One... So if estrogen increases fat stores (am I reading that correctly), then how does the pill effect my attempts at leaning out when getting ready for a competition? Two... How do u taper from var? I mean, I know what tapering is, I just don't know over what period of time u shud taper? Every other day? Over a few weeks? Half doses? What's a "rule of thumb" for tapering seeing as I've read here that my quitting just cold turkey is perhaps not the best idea. :)

if it's progestin only, it would have an impact AFAIK. If it's estrogen as well, it might make getting lean more difficult. As for post cycle recovery, that's on the first page of this thread. I suggest start by taking your anavar only when you very first rise in the morning and replace any other doses that day with zinc gluconate or glycinate, 100mg each.
