What to eat, HMMMM?

2 Days a week I do about 20 minutes of intense cardio in the early morning, empty stomach, and then later, about 6-8 hrs, I lift.
I take a : 50g Whey, 35g Dext,10g creatine drink after lifts but am unsure of just what my first meal after cardio should be made up of.

Today I had 2 egg whites, 1/2 cup yogurt, 1/2 cup oats, 20g soy protein, 15g Whey

Is this a good choice. What is it that my body wants and needs during this time exactly? If anyone really knows please help. Thanks

if your goal is to cut, then I would cut down on your carb post cardio. Also if your goal is to cut, leave about an hour in between the cardio and the post cardio meal cuz' your body is still burning fat in an accerlerated rate.

JG1, no ideas???

I'd like to know what you think or what you eat

Thanks

Personally, after I do morning cardio (60 minutes on the treadmill) I wait 30 minutes to eat, and then I eat 1c oats with 30g Casein protein, as well as some EFA's, and 200mg r-ALA.

When I'm done the cardio I feel very flat, but after eating the oats with the r-ALA, I swear it fills me back out. I go carb-less the rest of the day.

However, I wonder if it would be catabolic to not eat carbs after morning cardio.

My body tells me I need the carbs, but I don't eat too much. I remember reading somewhere good things about yogurt post cardio but can't find it again. I Think it is good to mix the carbs in the oats with the sugar carbs in the yogurt (Plain, Fat Free). They would be broken down at different rates, just like protein, I assume? Also the three diff. proteins from the Whey, Soy, and yogurt.

But now I am wondering just how much to eat?, should I up the carbs to say 50g or keep it at 35g? More yogurt, less yogurt?

Is it wise to have any fat post-cardio?
I know not post lift but just wondering
