What to do?

I am a graduating senior, so time is not something I have a lot of. I am 6'0 235lbs, and want to lose some weight and thin up for graduation. I have tried a CKD but can't do it with school and all, it effects my studying etc. What do you think I should do to lose about 20lbs in 2 months? The bonus is that in my room I have shit loads of weights with a bench, and a treadmill. How many days a week should I run? Thanks for all the help.

Im a junior in school and managed to do a CKD so if you need any help with that just let me know. Also try running (or any other cardio) int he morning on an empty stomach and then during the night do some weight training following that up with more cardio. If you wish to take some supps to help you along your way, try cycling ECA and NYC every 2 weeks. Yohimburn helps to i've heard but its a bit on the pricey side for me. IMO i think that to lose 20 pounds in 20 months you will definately need to change up your diet. Whats your bf% and im sure someone here can hook you up with a great diet and excercise plan.

Being in ketosis arguably isn't hugely important for fat loss. You could still follow a similar template without the hassle of initiation into ketosis.

If you like a lower carb approach, you could try starting with a carbohydrate intake of ~100+ grams/day coming from clean carbs like fibrous veggies, oatmeal and yams with high GI carbs in and around your workouts and cardio sessions. Structure the rest of the diet like a TKD. That is just a starting point. A happy medium could be finding a carbohydrate intake low enough to trigger keto-like lipolysis but high enough to give you energy for your workouts and studies. It is good to learn how your body responds to different ratios in any event.

Since you want to lose weight fast, try a caloric intake of about 12-13X bodyweight in kcals initially. Do not go below 10X bodyweight.

I would not recommend fasted state cardiovascular training. The risk of muscle wasting is too great. You will also feel like crap every minute of it! For max muscle preservation you might consider High Intensity Interval Training done 2-3X per week.

There are many other effective possibilities out there. Post your diet and training plans when you have it figured out and we can help you tweak it so that it is optimal

Blade, I really appreciate all the advice. I don't have a set diet and cardio routine, that is what I need help with the most. I am a pretty built guy as I went to college on a football scholarship in the beggining, but I blew out both of my knees. Since I have gained too much weight, and added a spare tire. I need some advice on diet and a cardio routine. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.
