what to do about getting married

I'm engaged and recently out of prison I was going to wait to have a big wedding but I'm haveing alot of issues with panic attacks and breathing trouble,now I can not afford what I need to lack of insurance..My fiance propose doing a wedding soon like a city hall thing just to get it legal and so I can be covered under her insurance and than just keep the plan for the regular catholic wedding I want in another year or two..What should I do

Get married if it furthers your goals then have a proper Catholic wedding later. For instance mine is going to be a small ceremony in the US then later a larger proper ceremony in Australia.
Its just the best route. Ive had hours upon hours wondering what the best route would be but its the best to just make the union legal as soon as possible if you are both sure that this is right. Then the proper ceremony will follow later on, yours is financial, mine is logistical but they both mean the same.
I view myself as already married, I dont need some paperwork to make it real, I also am not going to not have a proper Catholic wedding b/c that is a huge event if youve been to one. Its a huge celebration of life that people shouldnt skimp on.

Kiss the girl, tell her she's wonderful, and ask her to marry you RIGHT NOW. Have a quickie civil ceremony and get your health straightened out.

Have a big blow out sometime later.

anyways I plan to go on a cruise and get married on a tropical beach. plus it will wrap up the honeymoon. then have a reception when we get home.

Instead of spending a lot of money on a huge wedding ceremony I'd spend the money on a fun honeymoon.
