What the hell......Tommy Morrison

Dunno man...saw a pic of him that is fairly recent and he literally looks 50
 
the dude has gone to great lengths to prove he is not HIV positive. ..he just tested clear like 3-5x in a row. He swears the first test years ago was a mistake...whatever happened...he dont got that shit no more.

He must have gotten the South of the Border Magic Johnson treatment.

They couldn't detect the virsus in Magic after a few years.
 
boxing needs the publicity. most of us couldn't name two current HW fighters
 
i jus looked this shit when tommy and magic got tested they only did one hiv test and thats it and ever since both have come back negative every time....i used to think magics didnt cause he was rich as hell and toke magic pills.. but tommy is poor as shit can barely pay his mortage.. Could they have got it wrong when they tested them? since the test back then we alot older.. ? what you guys think.. cause how does hiv just up and vansih
 
I've suspected for years that they have a cure........they just give it to people they deem.....oh hell, I don't even know the criteria. Basically, anyone that has money.....or was some celebrity with some nostalgic value to them.......they can beat it. But if there was a ready cure.......heavens forbid we would be more sexually open as a society.... :rolleyes:

Magic is still taking anti virals. I dont think tommy had the virus nor do i think there is a magic pill. Tommy has got to be pretty pissed about a misdiagnosis.
If i was in his shoes there would be some heads rollin with a quickness.

ahh, well if anybody would know a creed would! i was checkin all these channels i got on charter, shit 300 ch. and versus is blacked out anyway. i'll have to check the replay on espn

HE was like 46-3 or something.

One would think that IF it was a Misdiag that he would not have waited all these years to get back in the ring

My guess is that he's probably been trying to...
 
There's an "insider" interview on ESPN.com where he claims that the "false-positive" test results were due to the fact that he was taking Steroids at the time of the original test.

If this were the case, then almost ALL pro athletes would be testing positive for HIV.

there have been many cases of new borns, born with aids or hiv that within a year are no longer hiv or aids positive.
