I was cat called by a bunch of high school girls yesterday. My company does construction work on a lot of the high schools around here. Anyway - I go to visit a site yesterday and a group of girls start whistling and making comments. WTF!?!? I thought it was very odd. We are taught to NEVER even acknowledge students existence so I just kept walking.

When did the tables turn? It used to be that construction workers whistled at women that ignored us. Now HIGH SCHOOL GIRLS ARE DOING IT!! WTF!?!!?

Thats nothing, I used to live down the street from a high school and they're is a stop light right infront of the school.

One day I was waiting at the light and this group of girls kept trying to flirt with me, one was so bold as to try to get me to take her for a ride, hinting that she's not as innocent as she looks, she actually opened my passenger side door and tried to get in.

On one of our companies job sites - a couple of workers saw the daughter of a friend of theirs - someone they have known since birth and the three of them were talking. Someone saw it and those two guys HAD to get tossed off the job. Even though everyone knew it was stupid and BS - THEY HAD to do it.

I can't get over all the girls that call for my son at all hours of the night even...where are the girls parents and I wonder if they even know..doubtful

I have gone to some of the girls myspace pages that my son has listed as friends and the foul mouths on some of them makes me sick really....I monitor my son's usuage and page and apparently some of these parents do not.

OH - they weren't doing it because I am hot - they were doing it to try and make me uncomfortable. Which they succeeded in doing, but only because I couldn't acknowledge it - even in a negative way. If I could - I would have turned the tables on them.

I can even make this better - my wife is a high school teacher. I have chaperone a few homecoming and prom dances in my day. Some of these 17-18 year olds look like they are in their late 20s. Dangerous shit!

OK - so my wife was the head cheerleading coach - well one year while chaperoning prom - this girl - about 17 - comes running over to say "hi" to her coach. Attractive young lady. Wouldn't have been a point of interest really except that her dress was completely see-through and she wasn't wearing undergarments. My wife didn't really know what to do - so she asked her to put something on. Here's the kicker - her MOM was chaperoning the dance too and talked to my wife about it. She seemed to think it was ok for her 17 year old daughter to pretty much go to the prom naked.

that's just crazy.
When I was pregnant I just thought for sure I was having a girl....I was wrong and have been glad every since that I was. I think it's easier to let my son do some things that I wouldn't with a girl. I know how some people may jump on me for this comment but that's how I feel and I'm sticking to it.
