What tells you a woman is interested?

I am hoping to get some female input into this as well, but how do you know if a girl is interested? What are the signs of an invitation? I was at a club on Friday night, leaning up against the bar looking onto the dance floor. There was an attractive blonde girl that I noticed earlier with some friends (mostly males) gathered near me at the bar. I did not take any notice until the girl came and stood next to me and ordered a drink I did not think much of it, but then after she got the drink she too leant on the bar but faced directly at me. Remembering that I was facing the dance floor and there was nothing to really look at behind me (a wall!). At this point I did not know what to do, except have a bit of a laugh at myself because she was probalary think "well come on idiot". I did make a little chit chat after that, but it seemed I was treading on someone’s toes (a Guy) and as my mates are bouncers up there I don’t like to make trouble for them.
I am newly single again after a long term relationship and looking for advice to help know when “your in”

I would say if you make eye contact with her- she has to be looking at you for some reason....then if you do eye contact and she smiles and doesnt look away, then you could be "in"...

Women will tell you what makes them interested but frankly they are probably just as wrong and confused about the whole thing as us men.

Really depends on the woman but if it's a bar situation you're talking about then yeah, go for eye contact. It's true that if you don't seem to be paying too much attention to the girls, they're going to be paying a lot of attention to you. The guy who seems into everyone is the one the self respecting girls are going to avoid. And you probably know this already, but... Other things to look for - open, welcome posture, lots of flirty gestures like playing with the hair, batting eyelashes, chest thrust forward, nibbling a finger etc. And you're definitely in if she touches you ("oh, that's a nice shirt" )

Closed arms, looking away a lot, monosyllabic answers should send a clear "No thanks" vibe
