hey monstar when someone asks u how big your arms are do u tell them what they are pumped or what they are cold?

It depends.. Ill usually ask them pumped up or just normally.. my arms really grow big time when I pump them up too.. same with my chest etc.

Maxellyz, that's some pretty big guns.
Mine are 17 1/2 cold, but tend to look bigger due to my small frame.
 
I go at 17" cold my only problem with them is that my triceps far surpass my biceps. Good for me as the arm is about two thirds tricep but still fighting the fight with the bis.
 
My biggest gun is my 338-378. A real cannon. About 8000 lbs of muzzle energy. It can knock some people out with the recoil.
 
do you'll measure them with your arm straight out or with it flexed not pumped or cold ? anyway mine are 15 cold but flexed I have long arms
 
Normally I don't bother with threads like this but...

Mine are about 17.5" cold, first flex. But they look like complete shit because they taper to nothing at my elbow and because I've got a thick chest. A friend has arms a little smaller and his look great, thick from shoulder to elbow. So size isn't the only thing that matters. Not much you can do about genetics though.
 
15.75 Cold, flexed.
Been workin out for less than 3 months, so Im pretty happy so far! :D
 
measured cold and straight out they are 16". measured cold and flexed the are 18.75".

I am defintely blessed, since I barely do any direct bicep work.

I have just read the article "The Truth About Bodybuilding Arm Measurements" http://www.testosterone.net/html/body_90truth.html I have just read the article "The Truth About Bodybuilding Arm Measurements" It says, to take accurate measurements, position your upper arm so that it's parallel to the floor, with the elbow pointing directly ahead of you. Measure the arm at its greatest girth, which should be at the peak of the biceps. Make sure that the "circle" formed by the tape is perpendicular to the ground. Are you supposed to tense the muscle or relax it, while taking the measurement?

ive been 18 for 2 weeks and been training for about 10 weeks... and my guns (only now ive realised you meant arms) are 14"... is this small for someone of my character?
 
I can honestly say 18 inches.

i said they were 18.18, or 18.23 about 5 days ago.

but my freind measured today and they were 18 on the dot.


hey they were 16.25 about 6 months ago.


its all about incline dbell curls and 1 arm dbell preacher curls!
 
18.5 cold, flexed. 5ft 7, 215 about 14-15% bf. my bicep peak isnt that good at all, just have really thick solid triceps! once i get a high bicep peak going with work, im sure i can exceed 20.
 
38".........................................it was hard taping them both at the same time, though.... I think I pulled something..
 
mine are a measly 14 inches when i flex, cold i aint gonna lie. but relaxed they are like 12 inches about but i got one of those cewl peak thingies so they look bigger :) :) :) :)
 
im between 5'6 and 5'7 and my arms are 14 inches,and im 175,my arms are really lacking and look goofy compaired to the rest of me
 
17.5" flexed cold. I'm 5'10 205 lbs. 14%BF. I can't get a good peak!
 
17 cold, flexed... Bis prevail over tris, but tris are rapidly showing impovement... Due to the intensity and flow, I get a good 18.5 hot.

I am also 5'10"/183.

My better parts are the lower body. My calves are 18 cold.

a pretty ripped 16. but they match my calves so it looks semetrical (SP) 30- 31 inch waste 172lbs 5'8

I got 14 inch guns, but they are cut, not just bulky, I would like to add 1 or 2 inches, but I'm not trying to get huge, I'm going for the underwear model body. Tone with some muscle, I like to watch world's strongest men, but I don't want to look like them.
 
13 cold, 13.75 after a good pump..
im 5'5" and weigh 130... they are pretty symetrical though to the rest of my body
 
Mine are 16.5in pumped. But like last Spring Break when i hit EQ they jumped to a ripped 17! EQ is coming and Spring Break is on its way...
 
This thread seems to have been around forever, when it first went up I was 17 1/2 cold, now it's 18" cold.

the question should be how big and shredded are your guns.
A 16 inch shredded arm is much more impressive visually than a
20 inch fat one......think about it!
 
Mine are 15, cold.
Some of the big guys around, please post your Biceps routine (weight and Raps and Type of exercise) I have been trying to boost mine without any results so far.

I've been training again for about three months but not like I should. I haven't been consistant and on arms especially. Yet do to muscle memory they are back up to 18 1/4 inches.

my arms are 17" cold but pumped they seem like they are a lot bigger, not sure how much bigger.
 
My internet arms are 23" cold, real life ones are about 17.5" .. hope to get to 18 at the end of this bulker
 
I got nothing compaired to the BigDawg,but I just saw my last post about 2 yrs ago and Im 15lbs heavier,less bf and almost 2 inches more on the arms
 
17.5 cold, first flex, left arm. For some reason, I never measure the right one but it looks to be the same. :)
 
.22lr, .223, 7.62x39, 7.62x51, 9mm, .40, .45, 12ga.

Seriously, 17.5" left and 17.75" right. (note to self, start j/o with my left hand).
 
Mine are pretty small, but I am better looking than all of you.

You gots really big guns on ya Sassy! Good work. Mine are just a shade under 19" first thing in the A.M. I don't have a clue what they measure pumped. I ain't all about that stuff.
 
I trained w/ this guy a few years ago & got the peaks to pop. It was cool getting the peak but I didn't care too much about the bicep dimension. It sort of freaks out my mom tho LOL!
 
been lifting 8 months straight and have had my arms grow to a clean 13"... 100% natural... after a workout my arms are about 14.5-15 (arm workout that is)
