What Scary Movie Scared you Bad Enough Not to See it Again?

Exorcist is one I will never see it again. Demon possesion of a little girl is just scary for me. Plus it is something that could really happen and I have two girls.

The Texas Chainsaw Massacre scared the crap out of me(I know it is considered hoaky now) but I saw it when it came out at the theaters and hundreds of girls screaming bloody murder plus it was very violent and shocking for its time.

Another one I will not see again is SEVEN. Man, I hate that movie. I mean I have never been so disturbed and uncomfortable when I left a movie in my life. I mean that sucker creeped me out. The only part I liked about the movie is when Spacey killed the lawyer.

dunston checks in

no seriously, probably fire in the sky, that shit is still scary with those aliens and all, i saw that on my 12th birthday, I watched it through the holes in my hat

or the final skit in twillite zone the movie where john lithgow sees that thing on the wing of the plane, oh man, I had to sleep with the nightlight on for like 3 years when I saw that at the age of 8, and I had that music stuck in my head

otherwise even horizon is pretty scary

That one got a lot of women I know too.

fiction movies aren't scary. the only things truly scary are documentaries and short video clips of bad things happening. can't think of any i wouldn't rewatch off hand though.

If any of you get the chance, play 'Fatal Frame' video game on either Xbox or PS2.

Play it along with the lights out and the sound turned up. That game is pretty freakin' scary.

Someone hold me.

I heard Silent Hill and AVP2 can be scary, but haven't really played either. What is the scarier?

Charlie Brown's Halloween
The "Great Pumpkin" was also terrifying! You couldn't pay me to see that again.

Seriously, an older movie I rented recently called Entity(sp) scared the hell out of me. It was just creepy. Also, Amityville Horror. To me these seem half way plausible things that could happen.

oh there are SOOO many

Smokey and the Bandit

Police Academy

Die Hard (apparently there are more than one of these but the first one scared me so much I couldnt stomach the idea of sequels)

and last but NOT least the SCARIEST MOVIE OF ALL TIME!!

The English Patient

Sing Along with Barney. "the horror, the horror"

Dumb and Dumberer scared me in the sense I would be scared if anyone was like hey, let's watch...

Yea, I forgot about Amityville. That was scary.

There is another called the House or the Ghost House or something. Where the house would possess people and then kill them by fear. At the end the current residents the husband and the wife decide to leave. So after packing the car the husband goes up stairs and his wife in a rocking chair with her back turned to him and he says, "honey are you ready to go?" and the she turns around and has a demon face and says "sure honey". He is so freaked out he jumps out of the upstairs window and lands on hise car below. Does anybody know what movie I am talking about?

i still remember the trip home to my place SCARED TO DEATH i was crying LOL

C.H.U.D.- saw it as a kid. It's about these things things that live in the sewers and feed off people and dogs. Walking home from my friends that night I would go no where near the sewer, or for months after. I couldn't sleep for days either.

The one with the creepy white and pasty face with the needles in it and the flying silver ball thingy.

ACK.

Ghost Story..

OMG...that movie scared the shit out of me. The freak thing is when we left the theater around midnight, the weather had changed and it was so foggy we couldn't see the parking lot!
After seeing that movie, the fog definately didn't help.

Man that was like 20 years ago.......

Rating : 5 (scale of 1-5)
Summary : WOW!
Review : This was made in 81 with a bunch of old Hollywood Actors telling a Ghost Story. Not much that makes a movie worth seeing for me, as there are hundreds of bad horror-films from that period of time in a similar vain ( 'Hell House', 'Burnt Offerings' ) and I dislike nearly all of them. However, this is different. VERY different. The plot is good and the actors are believeable. Not one scene in the movie that doesn't make any sense. Suspenseful from the first second, the movie captured my attention and destroyed my well-sleeping abilities for almost two weeks. The appearences of the Ghost come completely unsuspected and they are CREEPY AS HELL! ALICA KRIEG'S make up ( if she actually plays the 'THING' I mean ) is more than chilling, although you don't get to see her in her whole rotten glory just a few seconds. But this is enough to make you want to turn the lights on and hide in your Bed! Believe me! You remember the End of Psycho- the Discovery of Norman's Mother? These kind of scenes are happening every 15 minutes here, and they manage to be really shocking. All the actors do a great job ( Alica - where are you today? ) , and the direction absolutely succeeds. This is one of the best Horrormovies ever and it is very unfair to put it in one bag with pointless movies like 'Hell House'. Buy it, and maybe you will agree!

The plot? Five old men get together from time to time and tell ghost stories....but don't mention that many years ago, when they were young men, they accidentally killed a beautiful woman friend after a drinking binge. Now the girl has come back to get them one by one. I love it! Not big on special fx but what there is is adequate...and the atmosphere is great! So if you like Kubrick's 'The Shining', I think you'll like this creepy little gem from Universal Studios

Y-lifter, that ghost story sounds interesting. I thought you were talking about Tales from the Crypt. These people were forwarned about their future. One lady got killed by a killer Santa with a fireplace tool. Another person was trapped in a maze that had razor blades on the wall and the walls were just barely wide enough to squeeze through and then the killer let 4 killer dobermans chase you through it. Oohh it was a trip. I am going to have to check out Ghost Story.

that movie is Burnt Offerings. It was not his wife in the rocking chair. It was that lady that lived behind the door that you never saw. All those pictures on the piano, dresser and walls were all the previous owners of that house that it had killed. The man jumped out the window of the house and crashed into the car. The little boy in the car looked up towards the window and the chimney came loose and fell down on him... you saw the bricks falling, the little boy screaming and then nothing... next was a black and white picture of the family and as the cam moved away, you could see it was a photograph hanging on the wall of that house. Another family claimed. Awesome movie. I saw it when I was about 4-6 years old. Back when CBS and NBC actually showed horror movies on tv.

Oh yeah, Amityville was a total hoax.

28 Days Later!

Oh wait that movie wasn't scary it just sucked, I will never watch that movie again unless i'm paid a good amount of money or promised sex afterwards!!

Viper

I'm way too jumpy to watch scary movies. I saw one.. American Werewolf in London when I was about 9 and that was the first and last. :worried:

Oh and I screamed in Bowfinger.

Yea that was it Burnt Offering. Heck you might have been the dude that told me about it in the first place. How did the dude that jumped out the windows wife die if that was not her in the rocking chair?

Also did you see the Tales of the Crypt as I decribed in the previous post?
