What really happens after you get busted for AAS??

I'm not sure about the US.

But in Canada i think it's something like this for a personal supply...

A fine not exceeding $2000, and/or a sentence not exceeding 2 years.

Something like that anyway.

What the end result will be varies from state to state, city to city and county to county. In some states, possession of AAS are merely misdemeanors, but in others, such as Texas, it falls under possession of a controlled substance, a felony. It also depends on who it is who takes the case as well. If the case is filed by the US Postal Inspector, you are obviously looking at some type of federal charge and federal sentencing guidelines.

It seems that since law enforcement and prosecutors know very little about the usage of AAS, they tend to go after the distribution angle for what amounts to mere possession of an actual cycle.

There is no blanket penalty, it's gonna vary throughout the US.

in the u.s, you're fucked if caught with large amounts. even with the baddest lawyer you're still gonna do little time.

turkey: the cops will probably ask you where you got the juice so that they can go get it too.

thailand: the cops wont even know what the fuck it is. and even if they did they wouldnt care.

greece: they used to be cool with juice, but government restrictions on gear have tightened up dramatically.

israel: confiscation. no jail, no fines.

england: confiscation, fine, and potential jailtime (but very unlikely) if caught with very large amounts. even if jailed, the laws regarding steroids in the u.k are very liberal. in most cases probation and a small fine.

It is a federal crime to posess any Schedule III substance. Depending on the situation you may be charged in a state court or a federal court.

I believe the penalty is not to exceed $1,000 and or/1 year in prison for personal use. Prison time is a very rare case for a first time offender. If you are caught with AAS, charged with personal use, and have no criminal record, more than likely you will get a fine and perhaps do community service. Although some states may elaborate on the laws and what may be considered personal use in some states, you could be charged with intent to distribute in others.
