What LEGAL supplement duped or almosr duped you into thinking it was the real deal?

I remember when Rocky 4 came out I couldn't believe how stallone looked and when I delved into it more I heard about the product "Metrix" and that was how he got his body that way. "Metrix" of course being the meal replacement drink by Connely and promoted by Bill Phillips. I was on that stuff for I don't know how long waiting to get all "Jacked". I was knew to the game and thought that maybe someone had finally came out with a product that could actually be non steroidal and really could make your body look all ripped and shredded. Anyone else ever been duped by a legal supplement?

I ran a 30 day cycle of "Max LMG" a while back. It worked ok for an oral, but it shrinks balls faster than anything Ive ever tried. We're talkin golf balls to raisins in 2 weeks. Its a progestin, which apparently have decent anabolic effects but are not Class III drugs.

met-rx is good protien. I used to buy it buy the case of 60 back in 1995. I ate my three reg meals then drank the met-rx shakes inbetween meals .I gained close to 20lbs in a year natural but it waas the first year i lifted and went from 135 to 155 and was still scwany but building up. No doubt that protien is a must if you dont have the calories then your not gonna make the gains . so dont write off metrx as complete garbage it had and still has its place in bodybuilding as far as helping bodybuilders get in enough protien to build muscle and build fat.
now if you expected to look like stallone after drinking one box well then thats a diff story not gonna happen.

i did get duped by boron,natural sterol complex and the beast no gains at all in weight strenght and they had no protien or caloric factors to promote muscle just pure garbage

God there were so many when I was in high school. Cell tech is one which is just basically sugar and creatine. Andro did nothing for me. Derma-gain was an oral spray that was supposed to make you huge. There was also a deep tissue oxygenator that I can't remember the name of. I think I still have it actually lol.
