LOL @ the specs above..

Do you want an external HDD or internal one?

The external would plug into a USB port....

Internal bitch.

Don't laugh at my specs and I won't laugh at your small penis.

AHAHAHAHHAHHAHA

oops sorry that my Niggbro.

I am laughing at the specs because nothing you put there is helpfull in determining what HDD would work with your system..

Well hardly anything..

See the internal HDD I listed above... 79.99...

If you want one bigger just go to newegg. com get an IDE drive, prolly not SATA to be safe...

IDE / Ultra ATA..

Tell me what to post and I will.

Ok, don't get SATA (why?)

And look for IDE or Ultra ATA (why?)

And what brands? Is Western Digital any good? Hiatachi? Seagate? Maxtor?

Which to avoid.

(and why?)

I doubt your computer has a SATA connector, that is why I recommended IDE.

There is a service code tag for all Dell PCs. PM it to me and I will look your computer up and get the specs I need. It's like JM5BSC... and its clearly marked on a sticker on all dells.

Brands.. doesn't matter. Some peeps hate Maxtor. I don't know why. I've had equal luck with all.

and make it swift ok. I got to take my shots and go to bed.

Internally accessible:
one bay for 1-inch-high IDE hard drives

Primary IDE drive
40-pin connector on PCI local bus

Secondary IDE drive
40-pin connector on PCI local bus

Yeah you need an IDE drive... the one I linked earlier will work. It's 320gb... not sure how much space you have now or how much you are looking for.

Just get an IDE / Ultra ATA drive and ur good.

The one thing is, i couldn't tell from the specs is if there is a place to mount it without a mounting kit. You may need an kit to mount the 3.5" drive in a 5.25" bay... it's a 2 dollar part, but CompUSA will prolly charge you like 20 or some bullshit.
