I put away 265 a month and my employer matches 80% of that. After 5 years they match 100.

Add to that whatever the legal maximum is in an IRA, and a good pension and I don't save anything on my own, even though my bank balance does grow usually. It was shrinking then I got a roommate.

I usually save up for big expenditures which brings down my bank balance again. My last one was putting a new roof on my house. Next ones will be a motorcycle and braces. I've also been spending a bunch on cigars lately.

I might try for another roommate (I have a 3 br TH). My roommate is the beast thing that has happened to me, financially.

gas = $30
supps = $150
gym = $50
gear and drugs = $ i have no idea but its alot
