What is your debt load?

almost-pro

New member
I am 26 and have a fairly large debt load which is overwhelming at times.... The majority of the debt came from my 1st marriage and school loans. Over the past year I have made a drastic life style change.. got rid of all credit cards, pay cash for everything I buy, etc. It is a big adjustment, especially around the holidays it gets me kindda bummed out. ahhhhhh.. back to work!!

school loans, mortgage, and an emergency credit card that gets used all the time :(

LOL

oh and a car payment

The CC; I use it for car repair or home appliances breaking or stuff like that without having to dip into my savings accout because that just hurts so bad! I know its dumb but I'm a hoarder like that.

I owe on my house, have one CC that we use for stuff but it gets paid off pretty quick.

$0 right now, feels fuckin awesome.

I rent, so no mortgage. Obviously my goal is to change that sometime within the next few years.

Mortgage and one CC that gets paid off every month. IMO, credit does nothing except make you pay more for something you think you need now...

Well I came into my marriage with 130K debt in legal fees. My husband had zero assets when we married... since then we have got us a wholelotta new debt. We make a decent amount of money but it goes out faster than it comes in.... for now, that is. :)

*this success shit is VERY stressfull*

Mortgage payment, power bill, cable bill, cell phone bill....that's it...

Some internal loans - I borrow money from myself & pay myself back...

net house payment of around 500

car payment of 99

blood suckin' visa card balance....try to pay it off 10 months out of 12.

What is yours bro?

20k in student loans, but that is it. I can pay it off at anytime, but its at a 3.75% interest rate, which so far I've been able to beat with my equity holdings. Getting nervous now tough with the shakey market. I do not keep credit card debt, although I run nearly all expenses through it because I get 1% back on everything.

No loans for house (don't own :( ) car is paid off. No consumer debt of any kind. Liquid.
