How do you measure the chest?
contracting the pecs? with air? in a normal and relaxed position?

I didn't flexed when i measured.
 
51 inches.........cold, air exhaled, unflexed.

Goes up to 53 and a little when I breath in. 54 if I flex as well.

Bodyweight 230. BTW I dont fit any category on your poll.

My chest measurement = big as shit.

I'm built like a thoroughbred. Skinny wrists and ankles and muscles blowed up like baghdad in between.
 
2 weeks ago before summer cutting it was 48 1/2 at 196. only 5"7 though:rolleyes:

46.5. Down from around 48 when I was a little fatter. Ever notice how fat people have huge coat sizes? All that fat takes up a lot of space.

I weigh only 208 at the moment, due to my diet, though. I'll probably drop as low as 195 or so at the the end of my diet, as long as I don't starve myself. 6.5%, and it hasn't even been two weeks.

He is probably too young to remember when "husky" was a size given to describe fat kid's clothes in the 60's.:D
 
HAHAHAH no way man, my mother bought me that shit for a birthday one year after me telling her that i hated that brand because of the name. HUSKY, wtf is that? i hear husky and i think of george from signfield:lmao: hey, i even had one of those "FATBOY" harlydavidson shirts at one time lol

WHy do you not train your chest. That is maybe my best bodypart.

It's one the my most responsive areas to growth.

I like to devote more energy to my OHPs, as my shoulders grow, but not nearly as well as my pecs. The physique, IMO, looks better with larger shoulders, rather than gigantic pecs that would overshadow them. My pecs are well-shaped and largish, but I don't train them because they would "overgrow".

Also, it gives me some sort of sick pleasure to be able to tell the many, many, way too fucking many people who ask, "Whatcha Bench?" that I don't train chest at all.

And it also helps me with my OLY lifts.

so to sum it up your one of those guys with the natural "fitness type" physiques. you dont have to do anything but yet you have ripped abs, 7% body fat and all good proportions....when you can eat whatever you want, or as little as you want, and look the same??

same here, I'm only about 190 but look much bigger.

No, I'm one of those ectomorphs who is also lucky to be gifted in the pecs and thighs. Gaining size, especially on my arms, is very, very hard. I can gain strength easily, though.

My frame is very small.

Im sitting at 49 right now at 240, but I am bulking and retaining water like shamu, so my weight is off, LOL! When I was 215 and ripped I was like a 46-47.

You were blessed. People say I have killer chest and trap genetics, but now that I here your shit I feel small, ROFL! Well not really, since I am shorter, and my chest is only 2 inches smaller, my chest looks your size or bigger! HAHA.

Nice work my man, keep it up. I am getting ready for a show in Jan-Feb, so cutting starts on the 1st. Peace

Thanks, it genetics though. I've always had a thick chest. It was 48 when I did my first show (only show so far, only been training for 3 1/2 years) at 172 ibs. It looked huge because I got my waist down to 28. It was like 32 in my avatar, which clearly is not contest condition though. All I have to say about being ripped, and getting my waist down to 28" is PLEASE... I NEED SOME PIZZA!

Yep, how big is your waist at contest time? That makes a huge difference. Also my lats are very good, so it makes my measurement larger. I really think my pecs themselves could use some work. LoL

Good luck on the contest. My budget is too tight to compete again until I finish college probably. It cost me several grand last time, between drugs, food, and all sorts of crap I had to buy.
 
God I got raped on my primo too. At $20 an amp for real stuff, running 400 mg a week adds up fast after 12 weeks.
 
56-57" after a chest workout......55" otherwise....and it sucks ass.....every suit cost $250.00 just to tailor the bastard.....or I can go the other route and have custom made suits in Miami for around $2,000-$2,500........not fun....:bawling:
 
Just did these measurements.

Wrist) 7 inches even

Waist) 30 1/4

Chest)43 1/2

Arms)16 even right arm 15 7/8 left arm

Thigh) 23 1/4 right 23 left

Calves) 15 1/4 right 15 left

I'm 5'8" at 168lbs!!!!( I lost weight!!!! WTF?!?) Oh well.

I am pretty ripped right now so I suppose the scale is correct.

I haven't done these measurements in a long, long time.

Hmmm...I'm currently benching around 280 and doing 400+ on deads and 370+on squats. Not bad I guess for my bodyweight.
 
6' 0" w/ a 53" chest @ 262 lbs, however my waist is 41". If/when i get down to a 35" waist my chest might shrink to a 51 or so. But thats still pretty damn good and i have alot of room for improvement.
 
48-50 right now I'd guess.

Try focusing on our back more. I wider thicker back will bring up your chest measurement, and will tend to cause a bit more scapular retraction in your natural relaxed position, giving the appearance of a slightly larger chest. Just a thought.

What does your chest routine look like?
 
43.5 (measured flexed with tape straight around above nipples and below rear shoulder blades). It's probably not a fair chest measurement though, because I have huge lats.
