What is this "bump" thing people post in thier threads??

I see a lot of people leave a comment and the next guy will simply write "bump"
What is the reason for this I have been here for a while and really want to learn what it means alaso would like know what would constitute giving someone carma for a post and why we do this sort of thing is it a kind of " thank you for a good subject" I do not what "bombing" & "Flaming" also why do some people have green squares under there karmic powers and ohther like needtogetas has like 3 million Kings crowns what do they mean. do you get one for some much power? Not rying to be ignorant but if you diont ask you dont know!!

We don't talk about this kind of thing.

Except the bumping. When someone posts in a thread it sends it to the top of the list. When someone bumps a thread, they don't have anything to contribute but would like to see the discussion continue. Some people do it just to be an arse and revive long-dead threads.
