Why?

The species of people that come in during graveyard shifts at s casino is disgusting. Need I say more....

I did that for awhile.

Thought it was pretty cool, except not much of a future.

Worked from 4 a.m. to noon, then fucked off on the Gulf Coast for the rest of the day.

I had a gig teaching women's self-defense to high school gym classes when I was a uni student for a short while (late April til end of June). The money was good, but it was hell trying to resist taking the jailbait up on their slooty offers to visit me back at the hotel after school. The reason I had the job is that the guy who was doing the gig before me wasn't able to resist a few of those offers and the owner of the company found out...I was his replacement. Saying no to the young girls was easy...but the grade 11 and 12 (legal in Canada!) girls were not easy to turn down. It was frustrating as all hell.

I mean it had its fun times but for the most part FML. There was actually avenues to become part of management but like you said pretty deadended regardless.

I spent a few days helping a farmer with his hay one summer....that sucked even though he payed well. Tossing the bales was not hard for me, as I was a regular in the gym already...but the heat was disgusting.

After the haying gig I wised up and held a summer and weekends job at a convenience store for the rest of high school. It was the perfect gig; I was in air-conditioned comfort while most of the suckers I went to school with were knocking themselves out in the heat doing slave labour.

The good dealers at our casino make 80k + a year. Not bad for high school diploma and 4 days a week.
