What is the SECOND most famous onscreen death?

Excaliber
King Arthur gets the spear
and returns the favor with a sword plunge

wow, i cant believe anyone has said this yet, its possibly one of the best movies of all time, dr stranglove: or how i learneed to stop worrying and love the bomb, when he rides the bomb down, plus its bad ass. also citizen kane is a famous death too, even though it doesnt show him dying on the screen

You stupid fuckjobs. Die Hard? Hans Gruber falling out of the window of the 32nd floor of the Nakatomi Tower? Goddamn.

See my post on page two.

When Pacino went out for his last meeting in Donny Brasco.... taking off his wedding ring, etc...

the last samurai was awful in my opinion therefore it cant have one of the best onscreen deaths, also, i like how tom cruise didnt get killed by the gatling gun, it seems that every bullet somehow missed him, most cliche movie ive seen in a while, just my opinion....

oh yeah i forgot these two:

-reberto benigni in a beatiful life
-jack nicholson in one flew over the cuckoo's nest when chief smothers him
