What is the criteria for an Elite Mentor?

Not that I really care but it seems they're supposed to have some status on EF. Exactly what qualifies someone to be an EF mentor? It used to be a defrocked mod...what is the new criteria? Is it like COTB?

"Elite Mentor" used to be an honorary title for ex-Moderators, but they appear to have expanded the definition to include moderators-in-training-wheels, and for veterans who have a lot of useful information but who are, for whatever reason, not moderator material.

Recent events make me wonder if Mentors have access to the Moderators Forum?

n2, a little advice from a lifetime pleb.
there are too many cheifs and the status of becoming a mod or mentor seems to be watered down a bit.
imo, of course :)

No they do not have access to Mod forum.

I can only speak for the womens board as that is how a got my mentor status. Anyways I think mentors add to other forums because this way newbs have other people they can PM besides the mods for advice etc. I used to get PM's before but now it is just more frequent cause the site has recognized my status possibly making me more legit for newbie females to the board. Just my 2 cents.
