And you're right on with Dre being up there because of his beats as well.

Tupac is probably the best single rapper...but as a whole, Wu-Tang's got him IMO.

Snoop isn't a one hit wonder but he wasn't able to catch that fire twice. And Dre has hooked him up on some beats but it's never been the same. On Wu Tang I'm gonna disagree because Wutang Forever really fell short of Enter the 36 Chambers in my eyes. Method Man's 2nd one sucked. I've like all of the Gza, Rza and Ghostface's CD but I think Old Dirty Bastard 1st one (had the food stamp card on the cover) was truly another level. Even better than 36 Chambers and 36 Chambers was the shit.

Any list that includes Noriega among talented rap artists must lead us to a conclusion that the list-maker has no affilaition with rap, did a google search for "tired rap acts" or else was "just bullshittin".

Gotta love a black moon reference there, good shit, humorous in its "recorded in a basement" style, but "best" or "talented", that's silly talk.

There is also a serious WuTang bias here, yeah they were great, Cappadonna is a shitstain on Wu-Greatness; clearly you typed him in there under the influence of something.

Excluding 2pac is silly. Notorious BIG may have been too commerical for your tastes, he also had some excellent skills. No mention of Redman, bizarre. Jay-Z?

Lastly, Eminem has more lyrical skill than your entire list collectively, sadly he is way too commerical, but, can't blame someone for making a fortune.

apart from pharoe, mos def, h&M and a few others I kinda prefered oldskool hip hop & certainly nothing from wu-tang since liquid swords & cuban linx, gangstarr, das efx, kmd, main source, tuff crew, etc

Well, Wu Tang as a collective has unsurpassed talent because all of them are extremely talented linguists, writers, and producers. So I agree even though most of their solo careers as of late have been lagging.
