Different types of people, different discussions. Animated characters, boring characters. The fact we can all come here to talk seriously or get on eachother's nerves is exactly why I renew my platinum membership every month.

It's entertainment.

IMO this place is getting to damn soft... I've been hazed since the day I opened up my frisky acct and decided to post on C&C. (was here before as another name) If you can't take the fucking heat get out the kitchen.

My guess is because of all the characters who give you people something to talk about besides weather and the news.

There are other chat forums out there, but what makes C&C THAT much more special than others?

I come here for humorous reasons mostly. Sure, I want to make some e-friends but I think what keeps the members to renewing their Plat is honestly, a higher karma count, and acceptance.

and interacting with a large selection cultures

What you said. Plus - there are some intelligent people on this board who actually lay down some thought provoking threads once in a while.

I would never be able to socially interact with such a diverse group of people where I live.
