What is the best martial art to take strictly too

A street fight is all about control. If you know what your doing the fight doesn't have to go to the ground unless you want it to. I have been in a shit load of street fights and none of them went to the ground until I knocked them there. Blocking a shot is easy and it's a great way to keep the fight standing up. If someone eants to take you down and you stop them they are lost and have no idea what to do next. If someone wants to stand up and you take them down again they are lost. A street fight is all about control.

i've only done a 4hr seminar on Krav Maga, just wondering does it or Systema teach you how to take a punch like boxing/Muay Thai/Kickboxing?

there is some sparring, but its limited because the krav is basically designed for suvival and you doing whatever it takes to survive, which is a hard thing to practice

systema deals with punches strangely. one drill is you stand around and get hit repeatedly in the stomach...

but the goal is to be able to relax your muscles and use the body to channel the hit away and let it dissipate

the goal with systema is to be completely relaxed except for the parts of your body that are holding you upright or hitting somebody

grapling allways wins .hos grasey is the man

As said above, if all u know is grappling in a street fight, prepare to wake up in a hospital. Don't expect street fights to be fair.

BJJ for ground (only good for 1 opponent) & muay thai for stand up (fists, knees, shins, and elbows) for multiple dickheads. Learn these two with some wrestling skills for control and you'll be cracking skulls in no time. Nuff Said!!
