What is it?

Looking back on your life, what is your biggest regret? Maybe it's something you did or didn't do. Something you should have said that you were too scared to. A missed chance or untaken risk. And do you think it has played a part in your life in any way?

If I had taken one night class a quarter, three quarters a year from the time I was 18 until now, I'd almost have an Associates Degree. with minimal effort.

dammit.

Biggest mistake -- encouraging Holly to go to grad school out of state in 1991, instead of begging her to marry me.

It's hard for me to look back and say I have any regrets, because I have been extremely lucky and if I changed the past, it might mean that the things I DO have would not have occurred.

Having added that disclaimer, I would have rather gone to a better college, and taken the academics seriously.

I think that we all have that issue. The things that have happened to us have happened for a reason and have made us the person we are today.

No real regrets - one can only look back and laugh at yourself sometimes.

The only thing I had ever wondered is where my life would have gone had I never had to stop figure skating.

That I ever started smoking...just quite about a year and 1/2 ago. Also that I didn't meet my husband sooner...not in that order though.

Some things definitely are laughable. It amazes me now that I made such a big deal over them. So yes, I laugh at some things that have happened to me, but not all.

That I didn't try to make it to the Olympics. (boxing)
I had alot of potential and listened to other people instead of following my heart.

I think about that every day.

You can fully understand where I'm coming from then.

There always some regrets but the stupid things I have done and the guilt and remorse that come with them have made me a better person in the long run, though I'd like to take back the hurt that I caused others in the past.

That I didnt masturbate this morning when the house was empty. Now there are people home and I'll have to pass on todays jerkin.

I'm sorry.
I do so know how you feel.

Sometimes it gets me to see the girls I skated with or competed against on TV. You can't help but wonder - what if.

You must be good on your feet though?

especially when you know, you were/are better than them.

Can't say that I have any true regrets because I've learned more from my screw ups than my successes. Failure requires you to re-evaluate yourself, success doesn't generally cause the same kind of "growth introspection." Finally, these things are also make me who I am and I'm pretty happy with who I am.

I've also felt it's never healthy to dwell on regrets since you can't change your past and it will only make you feel worse.

A very serious answer, even though it may sound flippant at first.....spring break escapades when I was 16, 17 and 18.

Letting my parents convince me that I was worthless and stupid. I'm in my thirties and it still haunts me. O'well, I'll raise my kid better.

I met the woman of my dreams in Ibiza, Spain a few years back. We hung out for a few nights at the clubs together and it seemed as if it was love at first sight. Then the last night of our trip we were to meet up again at another club (where we intended to exchange our info and how to contact each other). Well wouldn't fate have it that this club was the worlds largest club and had over 10,000 people in it. I seached that fuckin place for hours trying to find her...I wonder where my life would be today had I just asked for her infor a little earlier.

Wow, that sounds like an excellent way to get rid of a stalker without seeming mean.
If I was a girl I'd have to remember this.

:)

That I stopped being athletic/working out/paying sports when i got to college. I'd be one bad motha right now :(
