What is a good Video Editing software?

My PC can read DVDs.... I need to be able to copy the video on to my HD, cut and edit the video, add tracks and visual effects and upload it to my website...

I'm looking to take a bunch of fight DVDs I have and make some highlight films to put on my website.

Adobe premier is good, as is adobe after effects. After Effects has more bells and whistles, not as good at just straight up editing large amounts of video.

What are you going to use for capital while paying off the copywrite suits, bitch?

:lmao:

I use premier, but what you want to do is rip the DVD scenes to mpg then convert them to FLV for use in your web based flash video gallery...

I know someone who can help you with that....

Will premier allow me to rip the DVDs and convert them to MPG?

Super DVD Ripper is more along those lines while Premier is an editing program and not a ripping one.

Adobe Premiere is POWERFUL, and even used in many post-production video editing houses.

but it's got a long learning curve. Others out there are much easier, but then again, they're limiting in some aspects. It's like Paint Shop Pro vs Adobe Photoshop. Depends on how in-depth the editing u want to go.

I finally located a video of an old contest I was in...I may try to get some stills out of it.
