i need a single ply poly bench shirt and i need some suggestions on what is good. i looked at the inzer hd blast and frantz shirt. the frantz is 65.00 and i really dont wanna go much higher than that. any other suggestions?

Let me put it this way: I only bench about 20 pounds more in my DD than in my Fury. It's a solid shirt.

pwr machine- they take a while or somethin?

spatts....thats awesome...i know it will be good then..ive seen some results that the dd's give ppl..thanks alot

PM me an addy...I'll send you my old Fury. If it works for you, keep it.

It's gonna take at least two people for you to get it on. I ordered it with a 40" chest, and 15" arms, so it'll be snug.

:D

Like he said, you'll need help. Start the sleeves on inside out and work them up as high as you can, then arms up and they pull it over your head. Work in to it from there. I think his titan is stretched just enough to be just right for you.

I agree that you'll definately need help. However, is it really necessary to start with the sleeves inside out on the Titan Fury. The new material is pretty easy just to slide up the arms and then pull it over your head. Bigguns15 wears an extremely tight shirt and we've never had to start inside out with the Fury. Just a thought...

It's just a technique we use. It also makes it easier to work the sleeve up while keeping the neck part higher on your arm, so when you put your arms up the shirt is above your head.

My titan has never "slid up my arm."

Thanks, though.

Not to change the focus of the post cause Kingc is definately getting hooked up! :D I remember the old Inzer shirts always had to be started inside out because of the material. I've just never seen the new Titan shirts started inside out. I've even stood side by side with Pete Alaniz himself putting shirts on lifters at women's nationals and men's master's nationals, and even the man himself didn't turn the shirts inside out. Play around with it Kingc. Find out what works best and is easiest for you. Good luck man!

KingC, ignore this next question to Spatts.

When you put on the shirts inside out, do you leave the end of the sleeve "tucked in" to create more tension with the shirt? I've heard of lifters doing this, but have yet to try it.

omg! thank you so much. being nice is one thing but you guys go beyond that. that is what comradre(sp?) is all about. thanks guys. i really appreciate all your help.

This is like talking about whether or not you put your head in your teeshirt first or your arms. You don't seem to understand what I'm talking about when I say I start the sleeves inside out. I doubt you would notice something so minor "at nationals" to make note of it anyway. Did you make note of which leg they put in their squat suit first? It's that trivial. I only suggested it because with a shirt that tight through the chest, he may be more comfortable if the shirt clears his head when his arms are up because it's easier to pull a shirt over a straight body than a bent one.

Kingc, just get the damn shirt on and HIT IT!

Not a problem...like spatts said, get the shirt on and hit it!

:)

Okay, I was a little off...it's a 44", not a 40", like I thought. On the one hand, it's nice to be wrong on the low side about my measurements, on the flip side...the shirt may be a little big for you. It's still coming, just giving you the heads up.

Also, do you have flat shoes to squat in? I've got an old pair of Asics that I don't use anymore that you can have if they'll fit ya.

inside out, outside in, upside down, over the river and through the woods, black or white, WHO GIVES A FUCK!!! i dont care if Pete alaniz uses two ply or three ply to wipe his ass, different people have different things that work for them, the key is that they work for them.

thanks man...you got pm....and ill try it, hopefully itll fit,,,if not ill call and order one. shouldnt take but couple days to get here.

Just take some creatine and bloat up. Hehehe It'll fit. I mean, I never saw anyone at the IPA's do that, but it might work.

Make sure, because we have people order single denims for NASA all the time!!:D

the promoter told me" only singly ply poly, here the lifter does the lifting" he sais denim and dbl ply is too much support.

I was going by competition numbers. If I hadn't locked out 330 and immediately dumped it, I would count that lift. That would be a 40 pound difference. I'm workin on finding my sweet spot; seems to be in a different place every time. It's a variable you don't have with the titan, and it has to be learned. Hopefully my learning curve will improve.

i looked into this to make sure the promoter wasnt blowin smoke up my butt. heres what i found on a nashville meet in sept on nasa website..

Powerlifting Lifters: May use any single ply Suits, Bench Shirts, Legal Wraps for Squat, Bench Press and Deadlift. As of 3-1-01 All Canvas Shirts and Squat suits are Illegal in NASA.

I believe NASA allows a denim shirt but it has to be a single layer with no modifications. Open backs are not allowed however closed neck shirts with velcro are fine as long as the velcro is fastened.

Don't hold me to this as NASA's rules may have changed since the beginning of the year. Good luck!

kingc, your shirt and shoes went out today priority mail.

I didn't do anything fancy like insure it, so let me know when you get it.

:)

If I thought inside out, outside in, upside down, over the river and through the woods, black or white, or two or three ply toilet paper would help...I'd try it:)

:lmao:

I love how you put that though...lol...I can't stop laughing.
