What happened to WWE's Goldberg?

I don't watch WWE regularly, but from what I remember he was champion over this past summer I think? Not too sure, but anyway what happened to the guy?

He isn't even listed on the wwe website as one of the superstars. How do you go from champion, to not even listed on the website?

Damn that blows. I know he wasn't the greatest talker/actor. But he always did crazy ass / unique throws and other moves (to other huge guys) that no-one else did. For that reason alone I like him.

He refused to increase his ring performances and travel schedule. He had the lightest travel schedule of them all. He was basically pulling one apperance for every four that the other guys did.

They gave him the boot. He went to Japan and made a lot of appearances over there where his hype and prescense is even bigger than it ever was here.

TNA tried to sign him but he wouldn't meet with him.

Goldberg had made some kind of come-on commment to her one night at Chicagos pizza and she turned him down saying she had a boyfriend and Goldberg threw back some half ass rude remark about it.

Dude showed up at the gym the next day and straight whipped Goldbergs ass right there on the gym floor.

I hate Goldberg. He is the biggest sham of the wrestling industry.

Well it was not pretty. Goldberg had a nasty gash on the back of his head where he was knocked down and fell back against the corner of a leg of a calf raise machine. Blood was flowing. That dude knocked the piss out him.

Not that the store owner was a gentleman. He used to strut around town showcasing his legs in daisy dukes that had ^ shaped marks cut in the sides.

I would see him in January scuttling into Morrison's Cafeteria wearing a thick sweater on his upper body with a scarf around his neck and them damn shorts.
