what's up with that rack you squat in...never understood the point in a rack without safety bars.

When you comp squat there aren't safety bars you're out in free space. So I like using the ladder rack so I can back out of it. Just got to practice the walk out so it becomes habit. I haven't dumped a squat in quite a while, but I have launched a bar or two in my time.

I'm going to tender a guess that since the thread had gone way off topic and people were talking about trying to get it to 2,000 posts that it had served it's usefulness.

Since I didn't delete it that is just my guess (read: why I would have).

It's better to not use collars, which forces you to maintain better balance, and in the event of a duff, you can just tip the plates off, correct?

I think they moved it to alcatraz so it could be contained. You'll find it on the upper and lower levels of the entire compound.

Very wrong. The absolute last thing you ever want to do is try and dump weights off one side of a squat. Plus the weights will move on their own and unbalance you which is very bad.

Squatting 396 5 times = roughly 450 squat so no where near half.

1) Wootoom has asked repeatedly why his thread was deleted. He did not delete it.
2) I'm not ragging on female mods, I'm ragging on whoever deleted the thread, and I believe they happen to be female.

You should maybe ask why whoever deleted it doesn't have the balls (no pun intended) to own their actions? Had I been in the position, I would have taken ownership of my actions and explained why. I realize this is tough to do when you are ashamed of your own actions, but fine, don't complain after the fact when people call you out for being a coward.
 
Maybe Daisy asked someone that they be locked?!
But still even if we do not deserve an explanation wootoom should at least get one, just my opinion.

I agree, Wootoom should get one.

The thread had over 10,000 views and 1,100 posts, I think that as a courtesy it'd be nice to explain why that all went away.

Of course this place generally doesn't work that way, but I always hold out hope that respect will start to run two ways here eventually. As it stands now, the people who get respect are those who demand it because of their user title.

Well see I have mixed opinions here.....And well I understand maybe someone wanted to get daisy's name out of the mix and what not, But at the same time is there any reasonable justification behind the delete? I think it was bullshit..There that is my opinion, it is bullshit. That thread was helping woot deal and also giving us all a reason to chit chat and shit. I saw no harm in it!! But whatever, that is not the point here..
Needless to say I can for see this thread getting deleted also!

A few weeks ago when I got wind that kak was developing or continuing some sort of relationship with Daisy I talked to him about it and said come on bro, knock that shit off. He didn't listen, didn't care, and I really can't respect a guy like that, just as I find it hard to respect Daisy now considering her behavior.

Yeah I can see Kak being a shit bag, again no offense to wootoom but you cannot judge a book by the cover..Do you know what was going on behind closed doors?? If anything she should have been up front and honest with him and then moved on instead of messing about behind his back with stupid text messages..But whatever. Cannot blame a girl for starting a relationship when the prior one was not what she wanted, she has right to move on. However the way she went about it was wrong.

agree. people cheat, relationships don't work out a lot, but there are usually many opportunities to show you have integrity in the whole matter and move forward like a mature adult. Doesn't seem like kak or daisy are interested in that, and I commend Wootoom for how he has handled it. You'll notice he's not just coming here to talk shit about his wife, he's just venting feelings and frustrations.
