like high school jocks, was it the 80s when they were at their peak?

I gotta say 80's here. After that it seems everyone got along and lines weren't as clearly defined. Stoners coulf hang with jocks or preps and so on. At least that's the way I see it.

depends where you are too... at my university being on a sports team makes you a god. With the exception of myself and a few others, every single person who's on any team (including curling and that crap) wear ALL their athletic gear (school makes you jackets, bags, pants... etc) ALL the time

where as a bunch of my best friends from highschool went to a way more chill university (McGill for those interested) and none of them even know what the varsity jackets look like...
