Well what drives me is when people make fun of me for being short and skinny. I can see my ribs but I eat a whole lot of food. So I think about that when I am working out. Also WalkingBeast pics drives me

Post what drives you, it ca be pics or maybe something that happens that makes you want to become bigger.

That I curve my addiction to PC games into Body Building/Strength Training instead. While I've always been big and strong I was never strong enough to my satisfaction. Also remember "Only you can prevent forest fires".

(On a side note I used to be 230 and you could still see my top few ribs, just got a very large bone base on myself)

Seriously, if I fail at a weight that I am trying I seem to become far more focused and I push through that weight like it was nothing. If I am making slow steady progress, sometimes I get complacent and my focus drifts. Then as soon as I fail , it's like a wake up call.

My grandfather told me along time ago...

"One day, the fight will come to you. You don't know how it will be. It might be a financial, physical, emotional, health. You don't know. All you can do it be prepared."

At the time, I thought he was a kook. But, when I'm getting tired in the gym and don't feel like doing it, I keep thinking "The fight is comming, you must be prepared."

Then, once the feeling passes, I laugh a bit because now I'm the kook who believes in the ramblings of an old man.

Ender JE that motivated the shit out of me. I have a fighting spirit, I train in fighting all times and that motivates me because I always think one day the fight of my life will come. It can be financial or physical but I know it will come.

the weight drives me. feeling its pressure in my hands or on my shoulders and knowing its up to me to control it. knowing that I'm in control of my body and its up to me to strengthen its structure to make me strong enough to handle it. thats what drives me in the gym. having the control to make myself better.

what drives me outside the gym is learning how to make myself as strong as i can make myself in the gym. being able to learn how to make myself as confident as I am when I walk out a weight or lift it off. knowing that when its crunch time, i'll move that weight, situation, idea, anything with the same confidence as I do in the gym.

I'm in control because I control as many of the variables as i can and I know the possibilities of the variables I cant control, so i'm ready either way.

also the veins ripping it off the forearms and biceps, the pump, the feeling of moving weight and accomplishing something for yourself.

And of course, turning heads of hotties of the gym, even if you never score them

But what motivates me to do always better myself, is my daughter!!! All I need is to see her smile, and I can fuck anything up!!!!I know now all she cares is to see me which is the hardest thing for me to give her, but as she grows, the only thing that matters is that I always make her proud, and live up to being the greatest father in history!!!!! That is all I need in life, no money, no fame, no woman (uh ok, thats a lie ), no car, no nothing! Just to see her smile, and "I pity the fool" that tries to take that away from me!!!!!

Sex is always motivating too...LOL
