What does it mean when this happens?

Everytime I inject a needle into my glute, ill pull the syringe plunger to see if I draw blood.

Well, this time, I injected the needle, pulled the plunger, and no blood filled the syringe. So I then proceeded to inject the oil. But once I was done injecting and I took the needle out of my glute, a stream of blood shot across the bathroom. And I had blood running down my leg.

What happened? And did I lose the injection? Do I need to re-inject?

You may have hit a blood vessel, I used to bleed a bit in the glute...and sometimes there was no blood. Your injection went in...no need to reinject.

Had this happen about 3 weeks ago in my delt. Injected 1cc of tren, everything went smooth, pulled out the needle and bam. Shit shot across the room. I have been in this game a while and it still kinda freaked me out. Looked like a damn murder scene in there. Lol i nicked a vein and the taste of tren in my mouth wasnt pleasant either. Lmao

Seems so many opinions on aspirating or not. Been in the military 20+ years and must have had hundreds of injects over that time and not once, ever do I remember the Docs aspirating. I do see the logic behind why you would do
it. I am so confused!

Correct me if I`m wrong but I think docs dont aspirate cause usually what they inject is meant to go in the blood stream and not IM unlike gear

Nah king, I get intramuscular shots in delt every year in the dispensary at my work and a P.A. gives me the shots, never aspirates. I always forget to ask him if he's every gonna do it to see what he says.

I think it's a combination of reasons. The nurses, assistants, whoever are going straight off a some instruction that was written up and that person didn't bother to put step x - aspirate b/c they weren't sure if it's necessary as some do it and some don't. Also it's a hassle of dicking around with a needle in some patients arm that is likely pretty uncomfortable. I think instinctually the injector just skips it b/c the risk is so low and they don't want to take that 2 seconds longer.

It means the needle passed all the way through a blood vessel so when you aspirated nothing happened but when you pulled out it blood went out

smoke you knicked a vein on the way out obviously.. seems not even necessary to aspirate since you have just as good a chance of knicking something on the way out.

my best advice is inject in spots that you don't have a history of hitting blood. your glute is a good place but you gotta hit the right spot, an inch off and you will hit blood

keep doing it but for me i find it impossible to hit my delt and aspirate.. i am too damn muscular to be able to use both hands. even when i do a pec shot i cannot use both arms cause my bicep gets in the way. not trying to brag but i'm being truthful.

Do you guys seriously not aspirate? I was told always aspirate the quads but the delts are fine to just jab and forget about but I don't feel comfortable doing that
