What does it mean when there is a grey dot next to karma?

I just got some karma - but there is a gray dot next to it? Is that negative Karma? Someone sent me Karma thanking me but its gray?

They don't have enough karma to give out points.....you need 50 karma to give green or red (neg) karma......otherwise it's gray......

think you need 100 bro to do anything other than grey karma. tried it for bouncer when i had around 50 and he got grey. unless i was just under 50 maybe???? you get another karma light when you hit 100 so i think that is the magic #. mods?????

They ought to make it 50 karma points. It takes a hell of a long time to get 100 points just by helping people out. I have just under 50 now so judging by how long I've been here, I should be able to give green sometime in the middle of next year .

yeah, i 'd have like 125/150 already if the guys with 50 karma points who hit me up counted for green. i call bullshit on that too.

i think the more karma they got....the more points they hit you up with. most give one or two....but i got more than that one shot from someone.

I get mostly greys, they should count for a little more than they do - make a formula or something like they count for 1 if you don't have many posts, or 1/50 of your posts if betwen 100-300, etc. so if you have been around a while and you get a grey karma it will count more if you post a lot.. what an idea, I bet I'll get lots of karma now!!
