What do you think would have happened?

A couple of buddies and I went to Mexico over the weekend to pick up our next cycles. Usually we get raped on the internet for them, but for the first time we decided to go and get the goods ourselves and smuggle them back.

With about $4000 of gear in our car, we pull up to the border and await customs. We had a few beers to relax ourselves, but nonetheless we were all pretty nervous.

The custom agent questioned us, and with a 1 day stay in Nogales, all he could say is 'interesting.'

So... they ask us to get out of the car while they search our vehicle. And they rip the fuck out of the car. My buddies and I were standing there for about 15 minutes while they were looking through our shit.

Frustrated they weren't finding things when their gut said they should, they start to search us after they are done ripping the car apart.

Nothing.

The agent's look back and forth at each other with disappointment, and have no choice but to send us on our way.

A very scary experience indeed. One I am not sure I will go through again, although I did save about $1000 on my cycle. I'm curious... what would have happened if they found the goods?

well i guess it all depends on what kind of mood they were in. they could give you a fine or give you a warning. i have seen both happen.

They problably would've seized it and miraculosly gained 25-30lbs over the next few months.

You should get a skinny guy that doesn't work out to bring your gear across. I know of some guys that have NEVER been searched. They don't look big, they aren't big. And they aren't a target for steriod searches.
