It's some kind of Microsoft Beta test and when ended, will then track the senders who forwarded after the Beta Test is over, and "supposedly" mail them a check for doing so. I am skeptical, but hey,....worth a shot. Anyway here is some of what I got. And,...no I'm not a jerk who would do all this just to give people some virus.

A trusted friend of mine sent me that email chain letter, so at first glance 99.9% of the time I know it is bullcrap, but I thought it odd he would send me such Spam, so I second guessed it, all the time expecting it to be a joke and just expecting a "no it is crap" reply. I wanted to confirm my first thoughts and had some time to kill, so I then attempted to post about it openly on the boards for other members opinions. I really did not expect such a response or the name-calling, in which I got. My only expectation was to be "treated as I have always treated others,"...never expecting all the while to be immediately red karma'd and called an idiot and made fun of so many times from an admin. (i.e.: Digger) I would be the first to admit when I was out of line, but blatant insults unprovoked at me is where I had to draw the line. I never appreciated being a board punching bag to be called called or referred to as an "Idiot" by an administrator, (Digger) or being referred to by member "Code" as a "fucking fucktard." Also, ... being asked "if I was dumb" from member "From Zero." I still feel I had every right to retaliate against these remarks, but with slightly more restraint, as I see would have handled it now, but glad I finally spoke up for once and do not feel I was wrong to. I feel now if, again I would have worded my argument differently, but not because I am at all sorry to these members, but because I am not that kind of a guy who goes looking for trouble. That is why. I just don't appreciate being made a fool of, after asking about something, and then being flooded with insults, red karma from an "administrator," (Digger) for no good reason. Being in a power situation does not give one the right to insult you for no reason and get away with it. He does not have this right, because where/when would it end?.... I felt he should have set an example and diffused the situation, not encouraged other hostile members like Code, and From Zero to continue with insult after insult towards me. I was banned. I just want to take the time to thank guys like member "Burning Inside," for one, and the many of the other guys I have not mentioned, (know who you guys are) that keep the board fair, and speak what they feel, and made this a great board. I knew I wasn't going crazy, and somebody else had to see what was happening here. For the record, I never caused any problems for the board, and I always tried to help, or offer help to other members. This is why I joined. I am really disappointed about how things turned out, and who decides who stays, who goes, and why, with who has the powers that be to do so. I spoke up in my "DEFENSE" when I got sick and tired of this joking!!! Everything is a joke on here it seems. Only reason I second guessed it, since it was comming from a good friend of mine.... So I immediately "assumed" since comming from him it was ok. But, whenI then read it I suspected it to be 99.9% crap, and laughed about it somewhat..... Just to be sure, and for conversation I posted a few sentences of it up, along with requesting other member opinions on it. I took a chance, and thought for a minute "what the heck is this?"... All aside from being made a complete jerk of, flat out insulted, and red karma'd and insulted from a staff member (Digger) I was totally in shock, to say the least, and very surprised at what just happened. A simple....."No, bro....that mail is crap... would have been sufficent." Minus the personal attacks,...in which I felt I had the right to respond and retaliate to defend myself. Looking back..... I wished would have not sworn,....My apoligies goes out to the other members for having to hear this mess, and my misure of language. I still stick firm to my guns though, and feel those who were in the wrong were pointed out, and I was not one of them. Again,... regardless I do apoligize to all the other members on the board for my misuse/ slip of language who had to be unfortunate enough to read/ stumble onto the post. Elite is still a great board with plenty of guy willing to offer legit help, and keep what the true essence of what the board was initially about. I offer no apologies to the ones it was directed to, since it was in a retalitory defensive response to insults and negative comments directed to me initially. I consider this case closed, and you will hear no more of me about it. I would like to be "re-instated" to my status, but that may be out of my hands. Why others who obviously cause troubles should go unscathed, and I take the brunt in this particular post is beyond my comprehension. I leave that up to the higher-up's to deciede. I respect their decision whatever it may be... I just ask to be fair, and read and consider what happened. that is all. I do however stand firm w/ my decision, offer my sincere "apoligies" to all the other members of the board & other staff/ mods, ect...who had to stand witnes this ugly post.

I feel all this could have been avoided. Instead, it seemed to be encouraged.... I really do not know as to why this happened...This should be really taken into consideration, the actions and language towards others in a derogative manner, for future refference with other members/posts so this can be avoided w/ other members. Joking is one thing,... but you have to know where the line is. You don't have to be a genious to see the difference between joking and flat out insulting. Take it even from me. That I do know at least....

I think it is fair to say that this situation could have been avoided. BT75 did post about a kinda stupid subject. I understand why Digger doesnt want to propagate this shit on this site. BT75 could have responded more politely to the retards who hurled the insults. Also, I think that basically telling an admin to fuck off is not on; their job would be made a lot harder if they put up with that. Somebody has to enforce the rules.....Digger plays his part.
