What do you guys use...

For your tricep work after your speed bench and also after your ME bench exercise? Also, how does the volume and reps scheme for triceps look for you on the different days?


After speed benches I was thinging of going with either skull crushers or Close grips and doing like 4 sets of 6-10.(I'm dropping db extensions for now)

After ME I was thinking of doing either JM's or dips(only half way down, mostly lockouts). 4 sets of 6-10


Of course I might throw in some different exercises or variations here and there, but these are the basics.


Should I do different volume or different rep ranges for the 2 days? Thanks
 
I've just recently started doing alot of partial rep work as my assistance excercises and it seems to be helping really good. After the partials i do a few sets of V grip pushdowns with short rest periods.
The volume is roughly the same on both my ME and dynamic days
 
My standbys are elbow-out ext's, close grip flat bench, straight bar skullcrushers, JM press, 4-6 sets of 5-8, sometimes to a 1-3RM on ME day.

On DE day I will sometimes throw in something different for the hell of it like light cable pushdowns to failure or light db extensions for high reps, but I never do full-range dips because of the extreme joint stress. I usually don't do the same ex. twice in a row.
 
On max effort day i ussualy go lighter on the tris as in less wieght more reps around 8-10 and on speed day i go heavy weight and 5-7 reps for about 50 reps total. all depends on how sore they are and what exercise i'm doing and wether or not my elbows are feelin good.
 
yeah i do 7 sets of 8 dumbell ext after me day

and 5 sets of 8 barbell ext or jm after speed day.
