Anyone ever lose a bit of motivation to workout over the years? Distractions be it people or personal issues? What gets your head back in the game and gets you back into your killer ass routine?

Lately I feel like ive been slipping and need to re-focus my mind.

I have been wicked stressed lately.. I think a good flick to watch would be Pumping Iron to a ronnie or Jay movie. easily downloadable from youtube probably!
that'll get you going!

Here is the thing. I find reaching out to help others keeps me going. If I did not invest so much time into helping others I could not keep going. Karma always comes back..

There is power in this bro trust me.

Also reading a book, trying a new product, changing up training, all can work.

I will let this slide in aas for a wile.

Thanks man, I try to give advice when I can as well, thanks for being a great help to me you were the first person to "talk to me" on here.. ;)

With me it's simple discipline. I've committed to doing this. It's part of my day.
I have a 48" chest and a 34" waist. If I stop... those numbers would reverse within a year. :worried: That's motivation enough for this ol' man. :)

It's hard. It really is. The guy I work out with is 10 years younger than me. Two people in the gym have asked me if he was my son. I mean, DAMN, do I look that old? I am only 33. That's motivation for me.

Is what I am doing right now going to help me achieve my goals?

I have my share of distractions. Work. Money. Women. Forced to live at home because of a combination of the first 2. Sitting at home with a nice ass degree, and not being able to put it to use bothers me. And health. Having IBS sucks, plain and simple.

I have 2 sources of motivation. The first is seeing people better than me. Lifting more than me. Looking better. Bigger muscles. I want to outdo them. I never will for some, but I want to. That's what makes me try. Not wanting to be behind someone. Not wanting to be just another skinny dude.

My second is my health. Having IBS sucks, like I said. But I can't let it beat me. I won't. And I push harder because of it. It hinders gains because I can't eat a lot and I get sick a lot. But that just angers me more, and pushes me more.

work killed me for 80/hrs weeks and not enough$$ and i thought i live in Colorado so I can bike and ski--then work--so i walked in to my office--after coffee with HC ^^--so its his fault, and said i am done i am going for a bike ride....so if you see a guy at the stoplight with a "will structure your merger and acquisition for dura ace bike parts" please give
