What do you guys do with your needles?

Once your done shooting up, do you throw them into the trash, or send them to a bio-hazard waste facility? Just curious.

I have an old creatine container that I just collect them in. When its full I mark it as biohazard and just throw it in a public dumpster.

you know the ones of 33 cc. I put everything in there, the needles, syringes, vials (if not too big). Then i sqeese the can, so they cannot come out and put them in the trash.

I collect the needles in a coffee can & throw the syringe in the garbage. I had planned on just duct taping the can up when it gets full but, I kinda feel bad about doing that. What if a child playing in the dump were to open it up & find them? They could get hurt pretty bad, it's like a treasure to them. I am planning on going to get a sharps container at a clinic or hospital, then turn it in. Better safe than sorry, I doubt they will have a problem taking it. If nothing else I'll just leave it at the front desk then walk away, they'll have to dispose of it.

I use them to play darts. Paste some feathers on them and add a little water. Be sure you wear a wife beater and "FLEX" before you throw the dart.
After that I give them to the bartender, he gives them to the local junkies.

Anyone heat them up or use some other method to "disinfect" them before discarding them? I'm trying to get a disposal strategy together. Can you drop needles off without answering questions at a hospital? What do diabetics do?

I cut a hole in the lid of an old 5lb. protein container. I snap the needle and throw everything in that. Then when its full, I pitch it in a dumpster.

well the people that ive seen bring em it, they had em in an official yellow bio-hazard container.... call them and find out.

Iput them in a baby wipe container (I am a stickler for a clean ass! ) And then I put it in a bag and toss it. Keeps anyone from getting stuck and investigating!

One time I lost the top to my visene eye drops and so after I shot up I just reused the syringe to withdraw some visene and than I dropped it in my eyes. Watch out not to poke yourself in the eye though.

SHARPS CONTAINERS - safe, efficient & economical disposable of needles, syringes, scalpel blades etc.


If you intend to dispose of your sharps at the hospital the nurses would appreciate you not bringing it in a shopping bag.

Some sick bitch around my area dumped razor blades/needles in the local parks. She placed them at the bottom of slides in the sand.

I usually recap my needles and put them in a protien jug and dump it in a public trashcan.
