What do you guys do with your needles?

Anyone heat them up or use some other method to "disinfect" them before discarding them? I'm trying to get a disposal strategy together. Can you drop needles off without answering questions at a hospital? What do diabetics do?

I cut a hole in the lid of an old 5lb. protein container. I snap the needle and throw everything in that. Then when its full, I pitch it in a dumpster.

I didn't think this thread would get so many funny responses. I like some of your ideas. Maybe i'll turn mine into the hospital, and just walk away. If not, i know a retard that might like to use them to torcher people at school...

I hide them in the halloween candy. Apples are like nature's pin cushion.

I agree- this is a safe way to do it... then the garbage is not retraceable to you either

you guys can take em to ur local hospital... i work at one and have seen people bringing in their Bio-hazard containers full of needle and amps/vials......

Do you need to have some official container or just any container marked "bio-hazard?" Just curious.

Being a generous soul

I throw them on the ground in the park so others can reuse them if they cant afford their own.
