its an absolute pain in the ass... i've had this deep pain in my right wrist whenever i do arm exercises and especially dumbbell curls.. most of the time i have to stop my lifting completely its such a nuisance. i took about a month off with no luck. i have cheap wrist straps for support but can you guys offer any other suggestions? im thinking of purchasing vpx's glucosacream

Glucosmean won't do anything...that is for cartilage and most likely it doesn't work for that either. Try dropping any direct exercises that bring about the pain like your curls, and instead do a close grip pull-up. This "pulls" the joint instead of "compressing" it like I assume is what is hurting you.

Use the wrap. Take ibuprofen and ice it when its hurts and becomes inflamed. Pick up a bottle of Jointflex cream and apply 2x's daily. Don't stop using your wrist. Tedoinitis is caused by the tears in the tendon at the joint insertion point. If you stop using it all together the tendon becomes more brittle and is then more painful and easier to re-damage. I suggest taking about two weeks off of agitating movements and then start back using a much lighter weight.

Like I said it took 2 weeks rest from lifting and Alieve for me. I would use hot or ice pak when it acted up for temp relief. I couldn't even twist the lid off a salt shaker it was so bad so I couldn't do jack with it especially lifting. :worried: Ok, you can do curls with the good one but what is the point. Take your rest that is what your body is telling you.

I had the exact same injury last year and made a 100% recovery. Here is what you have to do. You need to do some hook squats. I am absolutely serious. Hold the squat bar in the normal position but have your two wrists bent like a hook. Then squat the free bar. It is an excellent way of exercising the wrist. I am not kidding you. It works
