If it's something good for you...you don't...but if it's something that you must walk away from...hell I don't know. :( Too deep for me, I'm still trying to figure this one out. Best of luck bro.

No easy answers in life.

I suppose once you reach a point where you get more negativity from staying than you would if you walked away, that it is time to consider leaving.

you just do it.

its hard and you don't always see the big picture untill a long time later. Hard to let go sometimes. But if your miserable your miserable.

I have this problem every time a new Madden comes out. Good news is you guys get a break from me posting at night when I get home cause I'll be glued to the big screen. I'm thinking about buying another 360 and tv for my office so I can play at work too. This goes on for about 2-3 months straight then I have to wean myself off slowly.

you have to change obviously.

you have to completely separate yourself from whatever is tied into it, and make a lifestyle change.

if it's drugs, don't hang out with people who do drugs etc or stay out partying till the wee hours, etc.

putting yourself in the wrong positions is a guaranteed road to failure

I bought a $1,200 recliner to play Madden 4 feet away from my TV. Its all I use the chair for. Well, that and MLB: The Show for the PS3.

didn't know you were a gamer, or that into sports game.

cool

now you suck 15% less

My friend is unhappy in his marriage and wants out. The thing is, he's 43 and has a 2 month old daughter. I told his dumb ass not to have a child, but he didn't listen. He wants to leave, but he's concerned that his family will disown him... I told him to do whatever will make him happy. Life is too short to be miserable all the time. Just make sure the child will be taken care of.

I have a crapload of games but I'm not much of a gamer. I only get hooked on the sports ones. I have something like 107 PSP games that for some reason I thought it would be good idea to own and play while traveling or at work etc, but I've played like 10 or 15 of those 100+. Daxter was one I really liked that's non-sports related.

oh shit....i didn't put 2 and 2 together. i assumed this was something less complicated (drugs/alcohol, bad friends, steroids, being a workaholic, etc).

as far as marriage goes....it's tough. my parents are miserable w/ each other and stayed together to benefit us (me and my older siblings).
I'm not sure it helped.. I think it may have in alot of ways, but in others it was fucked up because it was obvious they were miserable.
I give credit to peopel who don't want to fuck their kids up by doing that..but at the same time why live a miserable existence.

A couple of my older business associates are divorced w/ kids, and some got hit up really bad financially.Guys that were millionaires...and now are nothing.
They equate it to death.....and having to start all over again.

But all in all, you have to take responsibility for poor decision making...and know when to start over
