if people want to be offended by someone saying merry christmas, let the narrow minded fools feel offended. our world consists of many cultures, and frankly, i feel more offended by the fool saying that theyre offended by my benign cultural greeting than i do when i see other cultures at play, or even fat chicks

I think they are both ok. It's easier saying happy holidays rather than have a merry christmas and a happy new year!!

I think its fine either way. We celebrate Christmass on Jan 7th but when a catholic sais merrry christams to you, I smile and say it back. Sometimes I am the first one that sais merry christmass to people. Same with the Easter. Yugoslavian people (macedonian, serbian etc), we are orthodox and still dont get offended when someone whishes that to us, cause its the good thought that counts, not if or when its your holliday

I always say "merry christmas" and if they get offended I say "well then fuck you buddy." At new years I try to get slobbering drunk so I haven't a clue what I say.
