What do y'all eat for protein/fat meals?

And I'm talking solid food. Not a shake with flax. I especially need some ideas for breakfast. I have been eating string cheese, maybe a chicken breast, cottage cheese (but it tastes like ass without anything else in it).

Any ideas?

for breakfast I usually will have a whole wheat bagel with a small amount of cream cheese. The cream cheese tends to keep me fuller until my next snack time. I will also add fruit to my cottage cheese so that the cottage cheese does not taste so bad. I will also have a slice of whole wheat toast with peanut butter along with my cottage cheese. Oatmeal is good too.
 
I think marchan missed the point of your question.

I eat a shitload of eggs in an omlette with hard cheese. Sometimes if I have leftover steak I throw that in too. Once or twice a week i'll throw some salsa on it.
 
I eat tofu. One 4 ounce serving of a locally-produced brand has 17 grams of protein, and 9 grams of fat. Tastes great, and has a perfect protein to fat ratio for my needs.

WideloaD, what kind of cottage cheese are you eating? Knudsen is the only brand I've found to be palatable, and it's amazingly good with half a tablespoon of mayo mixed in for extra flavor and fat. You could also melt some cheese on top, or wrap it up with some cold meat. There's a thread on the Muscle Food forum about sprucing up cottage cheese that you may want to read.
 
man, i usually eat whatever brand is the cheapest (i.e. Kroger or HEB brand)

i love cottage cheese mixed with yogurt, but with my eating plan I don't eat carbs til after I workout

i'll just have to go back to the stuff when I change my diet

or I could just throw that shit in a blender, then pound it, but that defeats the purpose of wanting to eat solid food instead of a Funky Flax shake

Smoked salmon and cream cheese. Whole eggs with turkey sausage. Tuna and Saflower mayo. SOmetimes tofu but it is estrogenic so not too much. Turkey burgers micked with a raw egg to bind topped with cheese.
 
Steak and Eggs for me for breakfast or I'll do 3 whole eggs with chopped up turkey sausage and cheese and whip up an omelette.
I like the Smoked Salmon and Cream Cheese idea though, makes for a little variety. Thanks Zagreus.
 
every morning i eat 3 cooked eggs with 5 pieces of bacon. keeps me full til the next meal, and tastes good every time.

HEre, Here, Thats definitely my choice. Ill have a mostly eggwhite omlette, a lean Eye of Round, and tons of hot saus.

If im on the go, ill stop and get a whole rotisserie chicken and toss the skin.
