Since when are a rope and a tree expensive?

Bwaaah how about a little electricity and a woodchipper?

Seriously, I've read many times that statistically, the death penalty is MORE expensive because of all the appeals and such, I could be wrong though it is rare that I make a mistake.

I see your point hardgainer, and logically you are correct, however this 'person' GAVE UP his rights IMO opinion the first time he stuck his hand down some 2nd grader's pants...the children on the other hand were innocent victims..I would have to be able to look at stuff like this without a feeling of pure rage to think that this motherfucker deserves anything less than a daily anal raping for the next 18,250 days.

The ONLY reason the death penalty is more expensive is because of all the goddam apeals, they should get one appeal to the supreme court, and thats that. Not 10!!! I still like my idea the best, either that or Id want em put in with the rest of the prisoners so he could be taken CARE of Dhamer style.

Grand jury charges teacher with 261 sex crimes over year
Case involves 6th-grader at small private school; investigation continuing

By GREG LACOUR

MORGANTON -- A Burke County grand jury has charged a veteran teacher with 261 sex crimes, all allegedly in a year's time against one sixth-grader.
> Police continue to investigate complaints against 52-year-old Winfred Leo Snow Jr. and say more charges are likely.
> "I have very reliable information that this has been going on for over 20 years," Morganton Department of Public Safety Detective Mike Longpre said Tuesday. "A lot of people are bringing this stuff forward now. They've heard of his arrest, and they call me and say, `Well, back in whenever, this happened to me, and I'm willing to tell you about it.'
> "I'm still working it every single day, all day."
> The indictments, handed down Monday and released to the public Tuesday, charge Snow with 87 counts each of three felonies: first-degree statutory sexual offense, indecent liberties with a child and sexual activity with a student by a schoolteacher.
> Police would not release details about the crimes but said all occurred at The Children's School, a private, 81-student school where Snow taught.
> Authorities arrested Snow on June 15, two days after the boy had told his mother a teacher had sexually assaulted him at school and during weekend outings to the Wilson Creek area of Caldwell County. Police interviewed the boy the next day and another student with a similar story the day of Snow's arrest.
> Snow taught language arts, humanities, science and social studies to middle school students from August 1991 until the school suspended him after his arrest. He remains in the county jail on $500,000 bond.
> Snow enjoyed a long and apparently distinguished career as an educator in Burke County. The Western Carolina University graduate taught social studies at Freedom High School in Morganton from August 1974 until he resigned in 1990.
> Some complaints police are investigating date back to Snow's days at Freedom, but the teacher had never been charged with a felony or named in a lawsuit before his arrest, court records show. His worst offense was a speeding ticket in 1993. He paid a $20 fine.

public execution. In a stadium, sell tickets to cover the expenses the family incurs from medical bills and counseling. $10 bucks a head.

You blind fold the fucker, tie his hands behind his back, but let his legs be free so he can run a bit. Any family member(as many as 10) who wants to gets to be on the "field" with a baseball bat with spikes in it. At the whistle, he gets to start running!!!! The participents get to bludgen him to death. For $1000 10 non family members can"participate" in the fuckers big sendoff. Also the family can sell their spots to raise additional funds!!!!

This is just 1 option, there are others!!!!

With all of the appeals, I'm starting to wonder what the point of the trial is.

Isn't the point of the trial to establish guilt or "not guilt?" So then what's the point of the appeal(s)? Sounds like a "get out of coffin free card" to me.

We need Appeals to endure Justice, especially when a Death Sentence is at stake. However, the appeals process needs some tighter restrictions on number of appeals as well as time limits.

Wouldn't the spikes result in a quicker death?

I suggest using one of those plastic yellow bats they use with those whiffle ball things.

Sure, they don't hurt that much at first, but 100-200 consecutive blows to the same region should result in excruciating pain followed a few hundred hits later by death.

Oh, what a show!

Circus Clown Found Guilty
By PAT MILTON, Associated Press Writer

RIVERHEAD, N.Y. (AP) - A professional circus clown has been convicted of sodomizing his teen-age assistant.

Christopher Bayer, 29, known as ``Smiley the Clown,'' was found guilty Wednesday on nine counts including sodomy, sexual abuse and endangering the welfare of a child. He was acquitted on four other charges.

Bayer said he would appeal.

``I'm innocent,'' he said as he left Suffolk County Court. His attorney, William Keahon, said he is confident the convictions will be reversed.

Bayer worked for the Clyde Beatty-Cole Bros. Circus based in DeLand, Fla. The boy was 11 when he began working for Bayer in 1995.

The boy, now 17, testified that Bayer began fondling him during out-of-town circus trips, and that the first sodomy happened in 1995.

The boy's father grew suspicious in 1999 and placed a surveillance camera in the living room of the family's Long Island home, where Bayer would sometimes stay when in the area.

The father caught a December 1999 incident on videotape and reported Bayer to police. The tape was shown to the jury.

Keahon argued that his client had been given liquor and then set up before the taped incident.

Bayer was freed on $25,000 bail. Prosecutors said Thursday that bail would likely be revoked because a recent state statute does not allow bail before sentencing for a person convicted of a felony involving a child victim.

Sentencing was set for Oct. 17.
