What could this be????

Hi-

I injured my chest in a rather weird way while lifting. I was doing cable curls with a easy curl bar and I tried to over-ephasize the stretch to my biceps and I seem to have hurt my chest in the process. I know that arching the back and whole rest of it is bad form, but I stupidly did this.

At first it seemed like a muscle pull, but now it's diferent. Say I reach my arms over my head and arch my back is when I really feel the injury. I was wondering if I could have somehow created a hairline fracture of my sternum or something crazy like that. It hurts right in the upper chest area and it seems to be on both sides.

It's almost 2 weeks later and I still can't lift and it seems pretty much the same. Not really painful, but enough to know that it's there and I don't want to worsen it so I have not lifted in the meantime,

Anyone have any ideas as to what this is?

Thanks in advance for any help.

honestly bro i would go to the doc , we can all guess but with out x rays or a phd we wotn be able to help you.

Did you finally decide to stop guessing at what is/was wrong and just get yourself on over to either a Medical Doctor or to a Chiropractor?

What did the professionals say? AND How are you feeling now?

I'm with jarheadchiro. Sounds like you just popped your rib out of place dude. But still, go get the damn thing checked.
