What city has the biggest mofo's?

Just curious. I live in NY and there are a decent amount of monsters around here. Some areas have more then others though. I remember I was in Syracuse one time and went to a gym there. There were huge dudes all over the place which surprised me because you would think I would have seen more in the NYC area......plus that place is winter like 7 months out of the year. Saw Jeramy Freeman in 'Cuse,.....he is an absolute tank.

Just wondering if you guys have encountered any city's that have an overload of big dudes. I'd imagine the warm areas like Miami, LA and so on.

Kind of. It just seemed strange to me. The ratio of big guys compared to the amount of people at the gym was ridiculous. This was a few years ago though.

You'll see alot in syracuse because it's a college town. Them guy's don't have money to do anything but lift. Yes in south florida at least there's some big dudes.

Yea they do. I was just down in key west a couple weeks ago and there were some pretty big gay dudes walking around. Something about the humidity.
 
about 3 years ago me and a whole slew of my boys were in front of clevanders in a taxi well to make a long story short my one friend saw this gay couple walking along the street well he screams an obsenity nothing out of the norm for your drunken bioys but this one flamer ripped his shirt puffed out his chest and stormed over to the taxi while we are all laughing at this guy coming up to us my rolls up the window and the guy is outside the taxi getting ready to take out the window when he punches it and nothing happens.. that was it we were all so drunk that we started balling in the back seat the guy i think laughed back cause he didn't break it... BTW the guy was at least 6" black and jacked !!! Lots of HOMO thugs in Miami

I live in S.FL. While there are some freaks; there is not as many as you would think. Now there are plenty of lil GQ model boys who look like gymnists down here and they're all fags. As far as freaks though there is not too many. People look at me like I'm a freak and I'm only 5'11" 255lbs @6%bf. :worried:
 
I live in So Cal, Orange County, and surprisingly you don't see lots of big dudes. Even at Venice Gold's you don't see many huge guys. My gym has the most bb's that I've seen anywhere in So Cal. I was surprised when I first moved here from back east. I thought I'd see tons of them.
 
Not sure anymore but back in the day more BB's came out of beantown- (demayo, Matarazzo, Cutler...list goes on) Certainly SoCal prob has the most residing nowadays

Oh, and during the summer there are a ton of big dudes at the north jersey beaches. If you go anywhere near Belmar, or SeaSide Heights you'll know what I'm talking about.
By looking at them, you would think that they are a bunch of meat heads. If you take the time to actually talk to a few of them, you'll find that everyone up there is pretty cool for the most part.

long island kids seem to do a lot of gear. i remember goin out to cancun and every dude from long island was a truck, and they were the first people ever to tell me about gear. i was way too young then. but i'm not surprised the guys in ny are huge cause of that.
 
San Diego. Never seen more huge mofos in my life. All the big gyms in the city have their share of bodybuilders. Come to think of it, I don't think I've ever really seen a fat person in San Diego... :lmao:

I use Gold's in Venice and know a lot of guys there and it has by far the most guys into the sport, there are more bigger guys here than anywhere else garanteed.
Santa Monica borders Venice Beach, get onto Lincoln Blvd. going south make a right onto Rose ave. take all the way down make a left onto Hampton, it is right there.

I go there quite a bit also bro, but I don't think there's that many. There is lots of them, but not what you'd expect from the Mecca. I live in the OC and my gym has more bb's in it at any given time than I've seen at Gold's. Maybe I've just always gone at the wrong time.
 
Well you not being a full time member might have a little to do with it, Gold's is full of World class athletes of today and yesterday. That is why it is the mecca, I know many pro bobdybuilders who train there everyday. But I have to say that Gold's is not like it was back in the 70's and 80's those were it's golden years, it has toned down a bit since then. BBr's are on thing to have in your gym but to have at least 5 of the current top ten bbr's in the world at your gym is somthing different. Golds gym like I said has changed in the fact that there are more movie stars and millionairs in there then bodybuilders but there are a shit load of bbing athletes in there.

I have not trained in OC or San Diego, my guess whould be because it is so close to Mexico and aas is so redily available that lots of guys are using down there.

Weekends are not a good time to be in there either, you usually won't see anyone, possibly in the am though.

Yeah...in San Diego, you can throw a rock south and you'd prob hit a vial of test in TJ.
 
Some of these southern states have some huge monsters running around tall and heavy

NY NJ come summer time you see allot

But here is another thing to remember, what do you consider huge?

As you get bigger people who you once thought where huge look small, so to everyone based on their current size huge means something else

seriously, dallas, ft. worth, frisco, ARLINGTON, remember, everythings bigger in Texas..lol
besides look at the pros from there, Branch, Jhonnie jackson, ronnie, blah blah
 
I grew up in Nj and NYC, there is really no scene there compared to here in CA, the state of CA hands down has the most competition for any athlete in bodybuilding. It is definitely the hardest state to compete in and do well...After CA I would say Florida, and Texas.

Ny Bodyguard has made a good point as I did earlier, it depends on what your definition of in shape is. Like I said you may have a lot of in shape guys are your gym where ever you live but are they Pro caliber, to me that is in shape.
 
Chicago, maybe it was the gym I worked out of, but I have yet to see so many big dudes in one place as Chicago. I've lived in Jersey, which is second, Georgia, Virgina, and now north of Denver. It was in Chicago where I saw someone row, with perfect form, 405 lbs, and the only place where I saw someone bench 500 lbs.

Thats true, SD doesn't have to many overweight people, same with Colorado. It's all that frigin skiing and mile high elevation that keeps you buring the calories. If you ever drive through COlorado and get out in the mountains, I was short of breath just getting gas at 9600 feet. LOL Damm the air is THIN.
 
One other place I have yet to see mentioned is Seattle. Beleive it or not, I have seen some human tanks around that town. Granted they are all pasty white, but with all the rain there they must work out a ton or something. They are frigin huge and depressed. LOL Bad combo alone and then you throw in some gear.
 
I'm headed to New Orleans tomorrow for the first time tomorrow. I'll see if there are any beasts lurking around.
 
This sounds like a city out of place, but recently went up to visit a friend of mine in Grand Forks, ND.
I was amazed at all the meatheads up there per capita. Granted it's a small city, but just about every guy in that town is sporting a pretty athletic physique. Nothing BB quality, but pretty stout nonetheless. Only a few of them are lean guys though, but amazing to see that in a smaller town

I'll post pictures for both you bitches (at least in your avatars') very soon. I'm 10 weeks out from my next contest. I stay between 6% -9% year round it makes it a lot easier to diet for the contest. :chomp:

They walk around like the constrction worker from the village people with their hand in each other's back short's pocket. I have yet to see straight guy's do that.

I agree. Cali definitely has the toughest competitions that I've seen.

I was training in Gold's in Columbus during the Arnold Classic in 2000. As soon as I walked in I saw it or him or whatever it was...Ronnie bent over rowing 5 plates. He then pulled 7 off the floor for a deadlift. At that point I was like "I think I'll go home now..." :worried:
 
I can safely say I have been all over the world since I was born in London UK (Camden Town)
Lived in Santa Monica and worked out at the Gold's in Venice
Lived in Houston, Texas
And now reside near Miami Florida.
I must say the biggest people i ever saw were in Texas.
It is true what they say everything's bigger in Texas.
