What % Body Fat Must one Get To To Show Abs?

I know there is alot of natural genetics in this but please just ball park it. I just got my body checked at lunch and in months I went 14.8 to 10.7%. What do I have to get to to show my abs by May?

I am eating 500 calaries defiect, taking clen and fixing to start a t3 cycle with test/eq to follow in Mid march.
 
I'd say 8%, my abs were kind of showing at 11%... I think it varies from person to person in regards to what bf% one needs to be to have abdominal development showing... For sure at 7-8% they should be looking sharp...

I think the size of your abs also matters.

I have seem some with 12% have abs and some with 8% have none.
 
I have 8 % bodyfat and every DAMN bodypart ripped to shreds BUT MY ABS ( well I can see my top abs a lil but that is it ) ...but I know the reasons for this :

1- I have tons of loose skin around my waist and covering my abs ( I lost 45 lbs of fat )

2 -I NEVER in my life trained my abs seriously , so add this to the loose skin and BAM no abs for me

but I will change this ...oh I will .....my next cycle I will make my abs grow so FUCKING much , I will train them so HARD that they will grow and fill any loose skin that is left ....

the loose skin factor does sux , my friend got tested with the same guy that test my bodyfat , and he had 11 % , you look at him and I am way more ripped than him in every bodypart but the abs , his abs actually APPEAR cause he doesn't have any loose skin , only a lil fat .......that pisses me off ...

Try the sauna and vitamin E, it should help tighten up the skin.

vapor or dry ??


Also , some people recommend tanning , does tanning really helps ??

I believe that bf% required to see abs varies from person to person. Most likely though you will see them clearly at anything below 7%.

I competed last summer for the first time. It was also my first time to diet down. I went from 15%+ to 5% and had some loose skin as this was my first time being "lean". I think that I my abs were pretty good at around 8%, but one thing that definitely helped was being out in the sun. I benefitted much more from the sun than from tanning indoors.

Also, as time goes on, your skin will shrink up somewhat, but of course, that takes time, and we're all impatient.

just curious as well to what kind of sauna?
and vitamin E? i never heard of that... pls explain more. Thanks.,:mix: :D
 
Abs

Im on a sust,eq,dbol cycle right now. Obviously your muscles develop bigger and faster while on a cycle, but does this go for your abs as well?

I think the biggest part is genetics. I carry no more than 8 to 10% year round. I was down to 6 a few summers ago and you could see my abs a little but not like the pros. Then there was a guy at the gym a few years ago who had aewsome abs. We were about the same height and body weight. I worked my abs twice as hard as he did but I just souldn't get shredded abs like he had. He didn't even diet as hard as I did. I pro who competed in several competions kept telling me that having good abs is just like having big arm, alot of gentics are involved. BamBam
 
I'm 12 - 13% and I can see the top four if I flex them. I'm hoping to get down to around 8% in the weeks coming up. We will see how well they show.
 
Victor, dude - You just outlined the best way to get rid of your loose skin - ... By Hard work, and making your abs grow.

Do that man and at the same time rub some yohimburn on your ass.

I think rhe loose skin thing is bullshit, one of my friends likes to use that one also, look at pros, they go up over 40lb in the off season and they dont have that problem, lee priest at his height goes up to 280lb off season and competes at 225lb he does not have loose skin

I think it's all about genetics.
I have more stretch marks in my arms, and they are only 16'', than my friend that has 19''.
 
% body fat is subjective. 8% on a 150# guy is a lot less than 8% on a 250# guy Because it is 8% of their weight....I.E. The 150# gut has 12# of fat where the 250# guy has 20# of fat. Does that make sense? It also depends on fat distribution.

>>>wake up man , it is not bulshit , I went from 27 % bodyfat to 9 % bodyfat not once but 3 times , now it was the third time , my skin around my abs is all fucked up , with tons of stretch marks also , this means that the skin was stretched beyond its capacity , and the protein structure that binds my skin was damaged.

it will shrink and adjut but that takes a LOT of time , 1-2 or even 3 years ......, it just plain SUCK , all my other bodyparts are good , maybe because I made them grow so much that any loose skin left was filled , but I always accumulated fat in my waist area , so that is why it is the only place where I have loose skin ....


btw- the pros eat surgery for breakfast
