I don't know if we've done this in a while. Post up.
what's your style?

I have a:
double fat floyd rose strat
Fat Tele

Bass:
Peavey Cirrus 5 string

Blues, Gospel & country

2 fender tele's
fender strat
jackson V signature
peavey wolfgang

progressive metal, death metal, jazz, classical.. basically anything. i prefer the heavy stuff but nothing wrong with some john scofield every now and then.

I don't know if play is the right word for what I do;), but my weapons of choice are a Peavy Wolfgang and a EB Axis.

I really like the Ibanez's, but I prefer a thicker neck.
I've played some really baaaad LPs, but I prefer the strat feel, I guess you just get used to what you play.

I really like the single coil SRV sound. Funny thing is, my strat has 2 humbuckers, & my tele has a neck HB. The switching on the strat lets me get the neck single sound, though.

The Ibanez have always seemed like a great value to me. I had one for a while that I never should have traded. I traded it for a peavey strat copy, which I traded for a jap strat 72 reissue (my favorite). To bad, It burned up in a house fire last year. I'll probably get something similar (clear gloss or butterscotch, big headstock, 7 1/4 radius, etc). There's a mexican Deluxe superstrat with 7 way switching that I've been looking at, you can get them on Musicians friend for under $500. I've played one before, pretty cool. You can have the neck and bridge pickup on at once, and all 3 pickups on at once if you want.

Never heard of a Landola, what's it like?

I lost 2 acoustics in the fire, too, still haven't replaced them.
May go with a thin body alvarez with a pickup. I have some time to shop on the net while I'm here. I used to have a deep bowl Ovation, It's shape & mine didn't get along very well. I loved the v shape neck, though.

Landola's are pretty much the only acoustic guitars I've played. Well I've tryed others but Landola is definitely my choice.
