What are some good openers with women

Up until now i've used topical, objective excuses to talk to women. If they were in my class i'd ask about something related to the class. If they had just left the bus or were heading for the bus i'd ask what class they were going to. Only a couple of my approaches have not had a 'reason' for them.

So is there a formula to approaches? Will something as simple as 'Hi, whats your name' work or do you need an excuse to start talking? if you need an excuse what kind should you use? Ask them about some piece of clothes they are wearing, ask about local events? What do you people do.

I always look for something funny to say right at the begining. Makes them laugh, and girls love a sense of humor, plus smiles are contagious once they smile you will smile and then the conversation will be a lot easier and laid back!

yep....it's all about small talk.....anything will do. it's more about the act of doing it and how it's done than the subject itself.....

best to avoid serious subjects, keep it light. humor works best, and not "guy" humor.....

women love compliments......and guys who notice things like the necklace they are wearing, or the fact that they changed their hair, etc.

Hair is always something to zone in on if you see the opportunity. If you see a certain chica on a daily basis, and one day notice her hair is differenet, compliment her on it. Easiest conversation starter ever.
