I prefer Seagram's 7 and diet coke. Depending on the night I may add some shots (no matter what kind) to my mix.

I don't drink to often...vodka is my choice...some straight and some mixed with club soda

I used to be able to drink that back in the day with orange juice, isn't that a screwdriver or something. Can't touch the stuff now...weird. Getting old sucks!! I used to party all night, sleep the next day and go back at it the next. Now one night of if and it takes me 2 days to recover. :worried:

It's funny because I used to like beer and now I can't drink but maybe one, when I do drink it, Michelob (sp?) is my preference.

I love wine, but also like an occassional vodka and tonic or Captians and diet coke.

Wine for me too.. We'd get along just fine!!! ;)

Nothing like a good bottle of Shiraz or Merlot with a thick juicy steak :p

We should do dinner ;)

Today I would say something warm. Irish Coffe or Hot Toddie!

I know I will regret asking this but what is a toddie? I am pretty sure I have heard of it before but clueless :worried:

Pilsner Urquell is nice.

Bass was my favorite though, hands down. They don't have it on tap in UT, so it was always a nice treat when I'd travel.

I'm also partial to IPA's of any make...hmmmmm

Never heard of either of those!

Has anyone ever been to Jamaica and had a Red Stripe beer. DAMN, like everything else there...strong. I tried buying it here but not the same, does not have the same alcoholic content in it.

kahlua or white russian

White Russian's how did I forget that one! Those are freakin awesome (if made right and so many places can't)

what no one drinks daiquiris? Those are pretty good to but I can't drink to much of those either. I feel like I am starting to sound like a lush :p

Love IPAs, Brooklyn and Sierra Nevada make decent ones.

Definitely a beer guy.

In order:

Beer
Whiskey (preferably good scotch)
Mixed drinks
Wine

And barley wine isn't beer the yeast is dead hence the wine designation.

Cheers,
Scotsman

its perfect!

it has the punch of hard liquor
yet you can drink it socially

3 --16 ouncers and I am gone lol

No other tequila drinkers on the board *sigh* jeez ...

Don Eduardo, Patron, Siembra Azul, Cabo ...

(I used to be a Jim Beam drinker but you can't drink bourbon if you're allergic to gluten, also cannot drink vodkas made with grain, beer, port, scotch, whiskey ...)

I have learned that good tequila is a pleasure and smooootttthhhhh ... :p took a little learning though.

I love margaritas.

I like margaritas if they're made well. I've had some shitty, shitty ones, though.

Mojitos (?) are fun, too, nice and refreshing (rum but still ... similar kind of drink in a way).

Need I really say? Southern and Oj, or a good old fashion... even, rarely, sometimes scotch, but it has to be good with tons of ice for me.

Whiskey

Liquor: Whiskey (Knob Creek, Jack Daniels, Maker's Mark)
Beer: Lagers, ales, occasionally stouts with a hearty meal (Sam Adams, Warsteiner, Guinness)

Bourbon (Knob Creek) & Ginger

Don Julio Anejo, rocks

Beefeater, dirty, rocks

Newcastle (beer)

Sterling Cab (wine)

Depends on the mood and the occasion I suppose.

7 & 7 (or V.O. Ginger) used to be my drink of choice no matter what a few years back.. I've diversified my taste buds since.

when it comes to liqour, it has to be strong.

Rum and vodka are good.

Beer, only when socializing. Not for getting drunk purposes. Prefer dark beer.

Quality choices :)

Patron Anejo I hope :) Blanco es muy "bitter" in comparison IMHO... all blancos acutally because they're too young and not Aged (Anejo).

Nope darlin' Blanco :qt: I think it's a nice little tipple :qt:

Tequila is a drink actually MADE to be drunk young/raw, seriously. And I'll tell you 2 tricks about tequila:

1. Drink it in a brandy snifter, the flavor is totally different than in a shooter glass.

2. Add a scant teaspoon of cold water to the glass (assuming you have about a jigger of tequila in it) TOTALLY changes the flavor, really smooths it out.

Martini's are nasty IMO, but what is in them and what makes them dirty?
:worried:

a regular martini is vodka (or gin) and a touch of dry vermouth...

dirty is a little bit of olive juice

I make mine w/ vodka and a little olive juice and 3 big olives. Got one in the freezer right now!!
